“Central location for Katoomba”

Lovely victorian feel, old world atmosphere. Loved the 40s music played throughout. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are sad and tired and need a lot of TLC, but the linens were superb, bed was great, pillows are some of the best I've had. Breakfast, included with room, is superb!!!!!! Lovely coffee shop on the street level, little bar in large common space lounge, which is a very nice place to hang out and read or people watch Really wish hotels would do more detailing of rooms to make sure that, if you can't afford to renovate, you ensure all the little things are taken care of - proper siliconing of bathrooms, dusting walls, resticking peeling wallpaper. Working on one room per week shouldn't be a lot to ask. Close to town centre, across street from hop on hop off bus stop. Could walk from train station.
