The electricity went out while we were getting ready. The manager said that we would have to wait 30-60 minutes for maintenance to show up. The coffee was Luke warm. The eggs were lukewarm, and the potatoes were cold. The conditioner was empty. I LOVE staying at Hampton, but this was by far my worst experience. It was very disappointing.

Would not recommend unless your only option is sleeping in your vehicle. We booked a room on March 1 for a college visit. Sent an email to the manager next day and never got a response. Not a single “Sorry that we disappointed…”. Nothing. We will not stay at a Hampton Inn again. Not the brand it used to be. Here’s the message: We want to share some information with you about our stay at your hotel (Hampton Inn Bloomington) When we got to the room the keys didn’t work. I went back to the desk & was given 2 new keys, which also didn’t work. The man at the desk then went up with us & brought a device to charge the digital key reader. Then we pulled open the sofa bed for our daughter & found mouse feces in the sheets (the sofa bed was pre-made). We went back downstairs. I wanted to refund our stay & find another hotel but we were told a refund wasn't possible b/c we booked through Expedia. understood. We were given keys for room 302. We pulled that sofa bed open, which revealed toys, water bottle & food wrappers underneath & still likely there. There were no sheets for sofa bed so we went back down to the desk yet again for sheets. We were given two fitted sheets. neighbors had a loud party until around 11 PM & at 12:45 AM the fire alarm went off…. Why?? Never got an apology. We chose Hampton because of the brand & thought that would ensure clean rooms & good customer services for a reasonable price. No longer the case. Don’t waste your money. Mary

While the hotel is adequate, I was a little disappointed. Mostly the hotel soaps and shampoos were empty and housekeeping wasn’t on duty so front desk did the best they could. Shower had long hair (a whole glob of it) on the shower wall from a previous guest. Breakfast was just okay, not really much options for a gluten free or low carb options. Rest of the room was clean. Was more like an older, small town hotel than what I’m used to seeing with other Hampton inns across the us. Front desk staff were helpful and very friendly and responsive. Very close to IU athletic facilities.

We have various breakfast options per the Hilton guidelines, including low card and gluten-free cereal, eggs, meat & other items. I am happy to hear that our team members were helpful & friendly.

The hotel is average at best. It is a major need of a renovation in the common areas as well as the rooms. The best part about the hotel was the shower pressure.

Staff was great - very helpful. Location was convenient for what we were in town to do, but limited in that there’s not much dining around. Lots of construction in the area while we were there.

The room was large and the bed was comfortable. But the layout was odd. Instead of a full window, only 1/3 of the outer wall was window, the rest was a shallow closet behind a curtain. Also, the door to the bathroom was right next to the bed so the room looks right into the bathroom. Finally, our room was directly across from the elevator so we heard all hallway noise at all hours.

Perfect location right off the highway. It was located next to a construction site which made turning into the hotel a little difficult, but that was a minor inconvenience. Hotel staff were very friendly! Plenty of parking. Rooms were a nice size and the blackout curtains made it pitch black which was perfect for sleeping! I was pleasantly surprised that our room which was right next to the elevators was so quiet. My only complaint about the room was the bed. It was super squeaky everytime I would turn over at night. It was comfortable though! We will definitely be staying here again!

Everything was great, except we read that the hotel had a pool but didn't say it was outdoor. We had planned our trip to be able to swim and would've gone elsewhere if we had known there was no indoor pool.
