Will not re-book.

Location: Close to VA Tech, VCOM, downtown Blacksburg, Christiansburg.
We were told there was a mix up with the third party agency we used to book the room and we some how ended up in a smoking room. That was not fun and made the stay very uncomfortable. We tried to air the room out but the smell was in the bed sheets, our clothes, etc. I was coughing all night. There was a dirty towel hanging on the bath rail. There was hair/dirt on the bathroom floor. The room overall didn't "feel" clean. The complimentary breakfast looked okay, but we did not have time to stay the next morning so I cannot comment on that. The staff was pleasant and friendly, however. The room did have a microwave and refrigerator which was convenient.

Decent hotel close to campus

Decent hotel that is about 5 minutes from downtown and campus. Room was small but bathroom was big (but not nice). You get what you pay for.

Days Inn was a low price motel. It probably is a good place to stay for no more than two nights. There probably better choices if one is to stay longer.

Great price. Close to VT campus.

Hotel front desk clerks were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean, warm, and quiet. We were snowed in for a day and having a mini fridge and microwave in room was very helpful. It's not a fancy place by any means but very accommodating. I'd stay again. Great price.

Cons: Breakfast, although a variety, the biscuits and eggs were a little dry. Pastries were good and fresh. Maybe add ice water to drink also.
Location: There were restaurants near by. We were there for Virginia Techs graduation.
Front office staff were very efficient, very nice, even called to see if our room was ok. And it was ok. We could tell there had been upgrades however, the upgrades weren't professional quality. Example, the bar in the shower had grouting put around it, but it was not cleaned up. The tub had a cover put on it, but there was two holes in the cover.

Pleasant surprise!

My husband and I stopped here for one night on a journey home. We were pleasantly surprised by the condition of the room, considering the older style of the exterior. The room was updated, very clean, and very comfortable. Had a good nights sleep!

Cons: They need suitcase carts so that you can roll your suitcases and personal items to your room.
I was expecting a lot more from a convention hotel. The staff were sour and did not respond to requests. Had to go to the desk to pick up requests that weren't delivered. I will never return to this hotel or recommend it.

Pros: The location..That's it.
Cons: Where should I begin?
This Motel is filthy. The carpet in my room was filthy. It looked like someone went to town eating a box of crackers as there were tons of crumbs all over the floor including the bathroom. The bedspread should be burned and the pillows are cinder blocks in disguise. You are better off sleeping in your car. The staff was very pleasant, I must say...

I almost gave up on Days Inn!

Dollar for dollar this was the best Days Inn. The facility was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than sufficient and fresh, with plenty of coffee. The staff was professional.
