“Convenient, comfortable, a nice surprise”
A 3 room suite with fridge, stove. Dishwasher was down, but still, really comfortable place to stay, sunlit private balcony with chairs, cozy bed.
“Will stay there again when in Birmingham.”
This Best Western was a great surprise. This was not a run-of-the-mill hotel. First noticed was that the grounds were interesting with changes in elevation and nice landscaping. The units were surprisingly nice and spacious, very comfortable and well-appointed for both leisure and/or business (office) use, and very private. Pets are allowed and we had our dog who just loved going for walks outside...we noticed others with their well-behaved dogs...great to have the dog with the family! Though we didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening, we did eat the complimentary breakfast buffet, which was also a nice surprise...full range from hearty warm items to cold cereals with your choice of beverages/juices. Again, we felt very lucky to have found this place!
“The Comforts of Home”
The suite we stayed in had large rooms and a nice kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. Be prepared to provide your own paper plates, etc., because the cabinets do not contain dishes of any kind. A tv set in the bedroom as well as the living room came as a big surprise. The Rime Garden Inn and Suites is on a hillside surrounded by tall pine trees. Even though it is in the city and conveniently located near a shopping center, it had a more rustic feel. The complimentary full breakfast was excellent -- especially the hashbrowns! We would definitely stay there again.

Older hotel that had seen better days. However, breakfast buffet was excellent, and room was clean.

when we first got to the room i was impressed of the size of the room. there room r good size and in nice shape. the women at check in was very sweet and helpfull. the only thing i was unhappy about was the cleaning person for our room. when we first got to our room there was toothpast in sink. rugs needed vac and coffee stains on counter top. i called the desk and with in 10 min a person was there to clean and vac the room. but the girl who cleaned our room through our stay was unplesent and even rude at times. the stay at the room was great other then the housekeeper for our room.

“No Complaints”
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. I have found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, tidy and good value for money. I will be staying at this hotel again on my next trip to the US next year.
“This was a nice surprise !”
The room was nicely decorated and very clean. Beds were comfortable, we felt like we were in our own apartment. Staff was pleasant and the breakfast buffet was very nice. We will be back soon.
“close to EWTN”
Hotel staff were polite, pleasant, accomodating, and hospitable. outside of hotel could use some work. Concrete around pool and accomodations should be repaired and cleaned. Leave coffee available for guests -early risers. If you plant to visit EWTN, it is just up the road. I hope to return next year, but hope the grounds will be improved. It is called Rime Gardens There is so much potential for garden flowers to dress up and improve the grounds. The grounds back up into a wooded area on a hill. It could be so lovely.
