Parking very safe and secure. The breakfast was very good. The staff were all attentive, very helpful and polite. Our room was very clean and well presented. We had a really lovely stay.

This is a great hotel to use if you are visiting the NEC, as we were. We avoided all the queues from the motorway slip road! Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with a decent breakfast too. Plenty of choice to be had and replenished very well. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We will be using this hotel again for sure.

The hot buffet breakfast could be improved with addition of mushrooms and hash browns. The car park would benefit from clearing litter, especially around the edges and undergrowth.

Comfortable warm
It was a very cold night when we arrived so to open the door to our room and fell the warmth was really good. The room was clean, and we had a comfortable nights sleep. We ate in the Little Owl pub which is only a few steps away. Breakfast next morning was ss usual for a Holiday inn good and ample.

It was decent.
The first night was great, went down for drinks and appetisers. The next morning they ran out of food and half of us did not have breakfast. Cleanliness was good. Towels were clean but smelt horrible. The heater is one of the rooms was not working properly. Absolutely amazing bartender, recommend all who stays there to try the White Owl next door.

Very good.
It was quite a relaxing stay, the breakfast was delicious and the room was cozy. When we asked for two additional pillows we were given them with haste, which was very helpful. The bathroom was great, except that i wouldve preffered a bathtub, thats just my personal preference. The couch bed wasnt as comfortable as the normal bed, but was still nice enough to have a good nights sleep in. Overall, we spent a great time at this hotel. Thank you, so much.

This hotel was lovely, the staff are friendly, the breakfast had plenty of choice, my only complaint is the fact it's cashless, I prefer to use cash over card

Not close
It's not thalt close to the NEC unless you drive. If you can walk at 8mph, it's a 30-40min walk. If you drive its 5min. Cabs are around a fiver. Lovely hotel though, great staff.

The little touches
My third stay at this very central and easy to reach hotel. Ideal for the NEC. I had a problem with my TV and it was dealt with immediately… by suppling batteries for the remote, fitted by a very helpful front desk member of staff.

Great for short stay, good value for money
A very clean and high quality room especially for the price, better than expected. Quiet surrounding environment considering the airport is nearby, good for a short stay. The hotel also have the necessities available to purchase to compensate for the lack of shops near by.

Good stay.
Good location if you work location is on the outskirts of the city. Might take a while to get into city centre during rush hours. Close to airport. Good cosy hotel. Plenty of parking spaces, though not free. £12 per day I felt as a bit too pricey (it’s the same for a non-hotel guest parking there). I have stayed in other holiday inn express hotels in Birmingham before where parking was complimentary. I liked that they have non-cooked breakfast ready from quite early on the weekend which included breads, cereals, croissants etc along with tea/coffee.

I appreciated early check in as we had arrived before 3pm. However the lady at the reception was a tad rude. She called me up when i was waiting to be served and as soon as i started explaining she just spoke over me and asked me to wait for one of the 2 other colleagues who were on reception
