Not terrible, not great. Meh.
Nothing terrible about the hotel, just for the similar price at other Birmingham hotels, it was a let down. While fairly clean, there was just a lot more wear and tear than I was expecting.
Minor, but both mornings when I came down for coffee, it was cold and gross both days.

Convenient restaurant & bar inside. Inside pool even though the water was cold. Room wasn't what i reserved. Ceiling has horrible patchwork from water damage.
The bed was hard and looked like some didnt change the bed sheets just made the bed up

Our TV didn't work, and we were unable to get anyone to come help us with it. We asked for more towels and were told to find someone in housekeeping on our floor. We never did get the towels because the person I found didn't have any. The person at the front desk was nice, but not particularly helpful.
I was not pleased with the charge for breakfast, 14.60 on top of that! Continental breakfast has always been free anywhere I’ve ever stayed. I won’t use this chain again due to that fact and not to mention it was never told to me that I would be charged.

Thank you for your review. We apologize that you were not aware that our breakfast was not complimentary. It is customary that Hilton Garden Inns charge for breakfast and dinner service. We hope that you will give us another chance if your travels brings you back to the area.
Well. I am sure the was a day this place was a great option.
We had tile falling of wall. Cracks in the tub. Room wasn’t bad but we couldn’t get an extra towel.
The over hotel was just dirty. Elevator pretty nasty. Lobby was gross.
Staff. Super friendly but you can tell management is dropping the ball.
For almost $200 a night was expecting better.
We had trouble at check in. Booked on Expedia, but hotel also took credit card and it looks like they've charged me for the room as well at a higher rate. She said they charge it then it is taken off your credit card. Doesn't make sense and as far as I know it hasn't been credited yet. We had booked a 2 bed suite and were sent to one, but it hadn't been made up yet that late in the day. So returned to lobby and a new room was assigned which wasn't a suite, but we really didn't care about that.
We really liked the bar and dining option at the hotel. We appreciated not having to get in the car and go out again. Hotel and rooms were clean and shower had nice hot water and great water pressure. Good for the weary traveler.

Room was not very clean. Found hair in bathroom, on floor and on sheets. Sink was clogged so needed to use faucet in tub

Not a single ice machine for all 6 floors worked. No bartender. One cook in the kitchen. Television no working and no ESPN. Boo! Will never come back
Very nice and clean hotel. Located near many restaurants. The only thing I was not happy with was how expensive the breakfast was.

The location is vert close to the interstate, restaurants, and the local Wal Mart.
I didn't like that i couldn't lower my shade for privacy. I had to rig it with a gym clip.
Front desk did not input a late check out even after requested. Ordered a glass of water from the bar and had to pay $3 for a bottle. Had to pay for breakfast even though I am a Diamond member.
My visit was short so did not experience much. Room was clean and comfortable. Soap was very small for taking a shower.
Staff at breakfast were GREAT. Very accomadating. Very friendly.
