“My place to stay!”
Although nothing went as planned on my business trip to Birmingham (because of severe weather) my stay at Hampton Inn Suites Birmingham I-20 was well above expectations. The people were great and the facility was clean and comfortable. This Hampton Inn definetly reflected the expertize of the Hilton Family!
“Would stay again”
Overall, I was quite satisfied with my stay at the Hampton. My only complaint was that the road to turn onto for the hotel was a little difficult to see at night being it was small and unlit. Other than that, I was completely happy with my choice of staying here and would stay again if in the Birmingham area.
“Pretty good”
Besides being a little hard to find considering this hotel is not "in" Birmingham, we would go back. It was clean, the service was nice, breakfast was good, pool was clean and warm.

The staff was very friendly as we checked in. We had a King NonSmoking Room. Our room was very tastefully decorated and was well appointed for a travelers' needs. Bed was very comfy and had a selection of soft and firm pillows, and a white duvet. Duvet's always make us feel like the room is very clean because you can see if there is anything on it. The toilettries provided were very good quality. There was even a mouthwash and that is rare to have provided. There was a 4cup coffee pot in the room with and I heated hot water for tea, there was also Wolfgang Puck coffee Pods. After we got settled we used the indoor pool. Everything was clean and very well maintained. Plenty of clean towels were available in the pool area. Bathrooms in the pool area were very clean and nice. Breakfast the following morning was good. There was coffee and tea service provided 24 hours in the breakfast area and there was a variety of 3 coffees that were all good. And they had a wide assortment of Bigelow teas (6+ flavors). I am a big coffee and tea drinker so this impressed me. Breakfast buffet had scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, sausage links, waffle maker. They had a large assortment of fruits, cereals, and pastries, including some things that were above a normal hotel breakfast like a citrus salad and fresh strawberries. I recommend this Hampton Inn & Suites highly. Out of the several we have stayed in the area when visiting family, this one stands way ahead of the rest.
“Good Stay”
Very nice hotel. The only problem was that the showerhead rotator in room 105 needs to be tightened to prevent it from coming off.
“Great Hotel, off beaten path”
Nice Clean hotel, beds were great! Newer hotel. Not much around.
“Nice stay”
Newer hotel and right off the freeway. Close to town, but not walking distance. The food was simple and somewhat limited for all but breakfast. For a nominal fee you can have pretty much whatever you like for breakfast. Nice place - I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

“A nice place to stay the night.”
The room was clean and the staff helpful with directions and suggestions on places to dine. Gave directions to Barbour Motorsports Museum. Breakfast area was kept clean and stock with food as guests got their food. A good size group of people staying after going to Talledega the previous day.
“Disappointed with Staff”
The hotel staff was very disappointing. We called the night before our arrival to check about an early check-in. The hotel night manager wasn't professional or helpful. He basically acted like he didn't care. We would have cancelled, but most of our family was staying there. The next day the lady at the desk got us an early check-in. But, later in the day she was sleeping in one of the chairs in the lobby while watching television. The room quality was clean, but the signs about sleeping naked because the sheets were washed every day was a little weird.
