“Best Hampton I've Stayed at Yet”
This is a newer Hampton and the decor is lovely, rooms clean, staff very friendly. This was a quick 1 night stay for me and my daughter. We enjoyed the pool and most importantly felt safe. I highly recommend.

“Great for a getaway”
My boyfriend and I wanted to get away from Atlanta, so we chose this brand new Hampton Inn just outside of Birmingham. This hotel opened in February 2011, so we knew it would be new, clean, and nicely decorated, just the way we like our Hampton Inns. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few things that could have been improved: --no towels at the pool--so make sure to either pack yours, or get one from your room --the staff is super friendly and nice, but they seem to still be figuring a few things out--pack a little extra patience --we checked out of our first room and moved into a second room, but the computer system didn't update to reflect our move, so housekeeping did not come by--we had to request clean towels, etc. Otherwise, it's a lovely place to stay. There is a big shoppping area right next to the hotel--you can walk to get a beer, walk to a movie, then walk home. Perfect! Also, there are beautiful views all around you--not necessarily from your window, but from the pool, definitely. Seems like a golfer's paradise, with a big course right next door also. Overall, we would absolutely consider this for our next skip-town-go-away-and-do-nothing-for-the-weekend getaway.
“Beautiful Hotel - bad traffic location”
My wife and I spent one night in the beautifully appointed hotel. Staff were very friendly, the hotel is new and nice. The bedding is very comfortable. The only things that disappointed us about the stay was the traffic in the area - 280 is a beast. If you stay here and have to travel on 280 be sure to give yourself TONS of extra time. It's Fall, and the pool is outdoors and already too cold for swimming. I know its in the warm South, but I would have loved an indoor pool. The toughest thing about the stay was the lack of hot water in the morning. Both shower and sink were running lukewarm. A call to the front desk didn't solicit anything beyond apologies and bewilderment. I would have appreciated perhaps a bit more concern or a solution. I was by no means seeking a refund of any sort - everything else was great - but some sort of conciliatory gesture would have been great.
“Clean and comfortable - new area”
Was a nice clean (still appeared to be new) room, all of the basics needed - nice bathroom, good a/c, wired internet in the room with a comfortable desk/chair to work from, the bed was comfortable - the pillows were a little too puffy for my personal preference (I usually take one from home just in case). The front desk staff was very nice, check-in was fast, and the grab-n-go breakfast was a nice touch on the way out the door in a hurry. The hotel has snacks in the lobby (and sells other items for convenience), but does not sell beer or wine - there is a new shopping center next to the hotel which was nice to grab dinner, and drinks. All-in-all it was a very nice, clean hotel and the stay was very enjoyable.
