“Great place to stay in Birmingham.”
Easy to get to from the airport even if you rent a car and not familiar with Birmingham. Great neighborhood around hotel. Convention center right across the street. Shopping mall just about a quarter mile from hotel on same road.
“Home Sweet Home”
Atmosphere of this hotel was very warm and appealing. Just like being at home, comfortable and cozy.
“One of the best hotels ever”
Everything was great about this hotel. They have all of the amenities you need, an indoor pool, exercise room, business room with internet, and much more including a restuarant. It is also close to shopping areas such as The Summit and the Birmingham Zoo. I would recommend it to anyone.
“Solid, good hotel in a great neighborhood”
You always know what you will get at a Marriott. You can't go wrong. The Birmingham hotel is not their most luxurious, but it is definitely above average compared to other hotels. Very clean, safe, accommodating.
“Great service, great hotel”
I traveled through Birmingham for one night. This hotel is incredibly nice, with large spacious rooms (at least mine was.) The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in in a hotel. It is not in downtown Birmingham, however, so if you need quick access to this area, you might look elsewhere. It is south of town on I-459, in a business park location, near other upscale hotels. It is 3-4 blocks from a very large shopping complex with 100's of shops and numerous restaurants. All in all, great service and convienent to everything except downtown, and that's just a few minutes away.
“Beautiful Place”
We love staying at Marriots. They're clean, friendly hotels that are not outrageous in price. Our only complaint was that the indoor pool water was cold! An indoor pool should be heated and comfortable but this was freezing.

“Marriott Birmingham”
Very nice, clean hotel with supportive staff waiting to help in any way. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable and workout area was OK (small). Food was NOT great at the hotel restaurant, I would recommend eating "off campus".
“A Good Lesson”
This hotel is GREAT.....super service and convenient to restaurants, shopping and major interstates for ease of travel by car.
