The reason I gave it a 4-star is because they charge a "security deposit" that's NOT listed on Expedia when I booked my stay. I understand all hotels put your card on file for incidentals but it's always just a pending charge and falls off after checking out. They full on charge the fee and then you have to wait for a credit to come back through. They just need to list that BEFORE booking so customers know.

Toilet was gross and there were sketchy looking people hanging out in the parking lot at night. Even my Uber driver was scared to deliver my food and told me not to leave my room after she dropped my food off. Nothing happened and I eventually overlooked the gross toilet. 2.5/5

Please accept our apology for any inconvenience you had during your recent stay. As you know we are a pet friendly hotel and as such we cannot control the pets as that is the responsibility of their owners. As you know from when I spoke with you at your check out I will be giving you and your husband points due to your inconvenience.
The picture of the motel was taken at night, so it wouldn't look old bad painted motel. They give you a room on the 3rd floor knowing that their elevator was down and I asked the clerk caget a lower floor the next day, and she replied you will have to deal with the clerk in the morning, and also they charge me double for one room in which it effected my spending on my card.

Actually we have pictures of the hotel in both daylight and at night and our hotel has vinyl siding not painted. Unfortunately our elevator is out and during your stay our first floor was already full or you would have been given a room on the 1st floor. I do apologize that your credit card had an authorization on it but unfortunately this is something the system does and the desk clerk has no control of it. This is why there is a disclaimer at the front desk letting our guest know that this might happen. Again I do apologize that you were inconvenienced during your recent stay with us.
They need to update their website its very misleading

Please accept our apology if you feel you were mislead by our information posted on the Expedia website. I do how ever feel you got our information mixed up with other hotels you may have been looking at before booking. I have reviewed all our information posted and no where on any site does it show or say we have a pool or private balcony's.
Please accept our apology if we failed to exceed your expectations during your stay. Our staff work very hard to insure all guest receive a clean comfortable room.
Stayed here for a little weekend getaway. It's about a 20 minute drive to the casinos on the beach, and there is a TON of stuff as far as shopping, food, ect within 10 minutes. Front desk was busy when we got there and busy when we checked out yet each time it went smoothly. Everyone was friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

They took my money offf my bank card after i canceled the room.. almost 600.00... and i canceled the room.. i stayed at the best Western...they took my money...

Hello ChristopherWe went by what was on hotels.com reservation system. The extranet said you were responsible for 1 night so we had to charge you for that night. Had it said otherwise we would not have done so. Please always check your conformation letter form which ever site you book at due to the different cancelation policies.
I didn’t like the fact that neither Expedia nor the property management wouldn’t refund our last night stay. We had to leave early because my wife got sick and we had to go home.

Not having a name to go by I cannot check your reservation to see why you would not be entitled to a refund for the last day. There could be several reason why we would not be able to refund such as time of day you left or how you booked your reservation. Again I am very sorry to hear you had to leave due to illness.
