Everything that advertised is not what it is.

Stayed at the hotel for spring breach. You are not guaranteed a fridge or microwave. The staff lied about bringing one. Didn't get neither one until the next day. Our food was ruined. called guest service and they told me it will be later on they are too busy. I asked room service to only clean the bathroom because I can make my own bed and she just sprayed the floor and wiped it with a towel. No one told us the pool was down. The pool was empty. I was embarrassed cause thats what my kids looked forward to (heated pools) . No one informed us that the pool was empty. We found that out upon arrival. Front desk was very friendly but the services sucks. I will not stay here again.

Pros: Wifi & locaton
Cons: Breakfast service
Very handy for travelling to New Orleans. Rooms fine & ok. Wifi free throughout. Dinner ok, Unfortunately it was in a thunderstorm so views were none existent. Breakfast took forever which was annoying as we needed to be away

quick one night stay

Posted 21-Mar-2014
Room was clean, bed comfortable, had black out shades, and a fridge. Also had a bar and place to eat, both the food and drinks were good.. Prices weren't bad either. only negative was I checked in late ( 10pm) so I had planned to sleep in a little bit.. They asked me at check in, when I planned to check out. I told them 11, ( check out is noon) Fast forward to almost 8am.. I hear a light tap at the door.. Twice. And I didn't even have enough time to get to the door before somebody just let's themselves in! It was a housekeeper.. And I have no idea what she was doing.. She looked at us.. Said sorry! And ran out. I called the front desk.. And all I was told was that housekeeping can go in and out of rooms as they please and they don't have to annouce who they are... Well that sounds a little crazy to me!! she said" well they are cleaning rooms now" I told her then why ask me when I was checking out if they were just going to clean the room at 7:50am.. She told me that whoever checked me didnt write that down..long story short.. i basically got an apologly from the housekeeping supervisor but that was it. The hotel was nice... Staff was so so..

Not worth the money

Posted 13-Mar-2014
Pros: It is close to the casinos.
Our room was not available for check in at 3:00 pm as stated, but not only ours but others also. There was not towels so I had to call and request some. The door would not latch and the dead bolt would not latch also. Called maintenance to come fix and they did. The door for the bath room is a sliding door that slides across the door opening, but it leaves space on both sides of the opening to see in the bathroom. The room is out dated!

Great location, friendly staff, comfortable rooms

Posted 6-Mar-2014
Pros: location, staff, workout facility, comfortable beds, shuttle
Cons: The facilities were a little dated, but functional. I wish the shuttle would have gone to the airport: the cab ride is about $40.
Location: The location was close to the Beau Rivage and Hard Rock Casinos. There was a convenience store nearby, and The Filling Station is a great little bar!
Having looked around the area while I was there, I don't think that there is a better location. The majority of the staff were exceptionally friendly, both desk and support staff. From what I could see, it was one of the few hotels that offered an outside hot tub, which was great considering the amount of walking we did. The shuttle was a nice feature: our shuttle drivers were some of the highlights of our experience; they offered insights and suggestions about local attractions that really led to some of the high points of our stay. The two staff who were especially helpful were Kiara (sp?) and a gentleman from Kentucky whose name I did not catch. They were warm and funny without being fake. The bar/restaurant was nice but nothing special, but that didn't really matter as there were so many options within 10 - 15 minutes walking distance (and of course, many more only a shuttle ride away!). The workout facility was excellent, offering treadmills, a recumbent bike, an eliptical, and free weights.
