“Hôtel moderne et central. A recommander”

L'hôtel a ouvert récemment, et est vraiment neuf, propre et moderne. Certes la salle de sport n'est pas encore ouverte, mais on n'y allait pas pour ce motif. Il est central, facilement connecté aux transports en commun (aéroport, métro, ...) dans un quartier commerçant et animé (sauf la nuit - tant mieux pour dormir !) L'accueil est très aimable, souriant et efficace.

“Extremely impressed”

My wife and I stayed for a week in October 2011. Extremely good value for money. Very modern hotel, close to all the main points of interest and adjacent to the old town (Casco Vieja). All within easy walking distance of the hotel. Spotlessly clean. Very helpful, responsive and friendly staff. Would love to be able to go back to Bilbao and would not hesitate to stay at the Sercotel Coliseo again. 15 mins to airport and handy for all public transport. Whole stay was totally hassle-free.

“A nice experience in Bilbao”

This was our first time in Bilbao and we picked this hotel based on other people's reviews. We were very happy with our experience. The location was central, the staff spoke English and were very friendly and tried hard to be helpful. The room was modern, spacious and very clean and the shower was excellent. There were three adults in our party and the charge for the third person was minimal, if any. One night, we wanted to have some tea in our room late at night. We had our tea with us but had no hot water. The kitchen staff provided us with plenty of hot water at no charge. If we visit Bilbao again, we will not think twice for staying at this place and we definitely recommend it to anyone else.

“BILBAO HOTEL - - I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND”

GREAT CENTRAL LOCATION MID WAY BETWEEN GUGGENHEIM AND OLD TOWN. AIRPORT BUS STOP 5 MINUTES WALK (and just 1.30 EURO) FROM HOTEL ROOM (341) EXTREMELY CLEAN AND QUIET DID NOT TAKE ANY FOOD AS GREAT PINXO BARS AND RESTAURANTS WERE A VERY BRIEF WALK AWAY STAFF WE ENCOUNTERED WERE FRIENDLY AND VERY HELPFUL SUPERB VALUE FOR MONEY WOULD HAVE BEEN FULL MARKS IF THE ROOM PROVIDED TEA AND COFFEE MAKING FACILITIES

“Excellente situation, confort et sobriété”

Cet hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité de tous les lieux intéressants (vieille ville, musées, restaurants, théâtres) ; la réhabilitation de l'hôtel est tout à fait réussie : belle façade ancienne rénovée et intérieur moderne et très design. Sobre et élégant. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Personnel accueillant, certains parlent français.

“Sercohotel”

Nice hotel , very convenient for railway station. Expensive breakfast - but local coffee houses excellent . After first day had to go to reception every night to request soap !

“Sercotel Coliseo”

parking arrangements a bit complicated and costly. New and modern hotel in a colonial building, Perfect location in the city center by the casino and department store! lots of cosy cafe's around, convinient approach to the old city and Gogenheim museum. Downside - very poor fitness equipment in a small gym, Didn't have breakfast. Free Wi Fi en suite. Definately recommended!

“Good hotel”

Good central location within walking distance of major sights. Friendly helpful staff who directed us to restaurants and shops. Spotlessly clean but designed for business travellers so was very quiet, if a bit soulless - the bar was completely deserted. We booked what was described as a triple room with three twin beds but the third bed was a very uncomfortable fold-up thing. But overall a good hotel that I would definitely recommend.

“Above average in Bilbao”

Dining facilities in hotel limited. Room service is pretty much the only option for dinners. Business hours for the restaurant in the hotel is unpredictable. Very difficult to control the temperature of the room. It is somehow restricted for adjustments.
