“Great Bargin”
This is a great budget hotel. Clean and convient to Yellowstone National Park and downtown West Yellowstone. Service is friendly and helpfull. One drawback is that it doesn't have a 24 hour desk operation, so if you get back to the motel after 9 PM you cannot get any ice.
“nice wooden decor”
with yellowstone features, room is not big but nice
“Great Location”
Hotel was clean, beds were very comfortable. Great location to town-walking distance.
“Great place to stay.”
Room was small but very nicely decorated. Not the usual hotel look and feel either. The hotel was very quiet too. Shower only. I would stay there again on my next trip to Yellowstone.
“Pretty Okay”
For a last minute reservation, the cost was good. It was small, but not too small. No phone, but who needs one anyway. WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, but is available in Lobby. Nice Staff, clean, cozy. Pretty okay.
“Small, quite place to sleep.”
If you want a place to sleep. This is it. Easy check in and check out.
“Nice but basic”
Bare basics here, but when in Yellowstone, you're probably not in the hotel very much anyway. Very helpful and nice staff. Nice rooms. My only complaint is that the shower is VERY small. Barely any room to move around.
“Good place to stay”
It's a good place to stay for visiting Yellowstone National Park since the park entrance is very close. The room has nice decoration. There's internet access in the lobby and small breakfast in the morning.
“Cute place”
We stayed two nights, in two different rooms and both were great. A little small but they did the job for us. The only complaint is that some of the window curtains didn't completely block light. With the curtains closed and lights on inside the room, it was possible to see into the room through the curtains.
“Comfortable, rustic, quiet, "very Montana" accommodations with extremely friendly husband-wife host”
The Moose Creek Inn is an inexpensive and fun way to spend time in West Yellowstone, Montana. It is located right on the main street in town, very easy to find even for first-time visitors. The couple who own/host the Inn are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very rustic, warm (even in January) and clean, with knotty pine on the walls like a Montana motel should be. The queen bed provided very comfortable sleeping. In the morning we had free coffee and muffins in the check-in office/lobby as we chatted with the owners. We hope to return to the Inn on our way back from the Winter Olympics for anothe night or two of winter recreation such as cross-country skiing in Yellowstone Park. The Inn is very good value as an inexpensive but fun way to be in Montana for awhile!
