Located along the Gallatin River in the shadow of Big Sky and Moonlight Basin resorts and just outside Yellowstone National Park. All rooms include full hot breakfast. Nationally acclaimed dining featuring wild game, steaks, sandwiches and award-winning wine list. 45 minutes from Yellowstone's West Entrance and 90 minutes from Old Faithful. 45 minutes from the Bozeman Airport. Non smoking property.
A full hot breakfast, with eggs, meats, potatoes, pastries, cereals, juices, fresh fruit etc. is included in all room rates. Free wireless internet both in guest rooms and public areas. Relax at the end of a day of exploring Montana's many treasures in our two huge outdoor spas. Our spacious lobby with fireplace is a great spot to curl up with a book, and our patio with its fireplace or garden with waterfalls and stream are great spots to soak in the majestic views of the surrounding mountains.
Experience a thrill ride down the Gallatin River with Geyser Whitewater Expeditions, located on the property. Geyser can also show you one of the best views in Montana; from the back of a horse. Buck’s is located in the heart of the Gallatin National Forest and walking distance from the trout-filled Gallatin River. Numerous hiking trails are also within walking distance.

The restaurant at Buck’s T-4 has been recognized as among the finest in Montana and the skiing community. Chef Chris Kimmel brings together a unique combination of traditional local ingredients and classic culinary techniques. The menu features wild game, hand-cut steaks, local trout, prime rib and two-fisted burgers and sandwiches. Extensive award-winning wine list with over 200 selections. Ask any local--no visit to Big Sky is complete without sampling the latest creations at Buck’s. The adjacent game room with pool tables and video games is perfect for the kids. Whether it’s to sit and watch the game or just a night out with family or friends, Buck’s is the place.

Recreation
Yellowstone National Park, the nation's first and greatest park, offers myriad activities for the summer vacationer. Breathtaking vistas, teeming wildlife and spouting geysers make a visit to Yellowstone a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Big Sky is located 18 miles from Yellowstone's border, and just 45 minutes from the park's West Entrance, making it well-situated as Yellowstone’s base camp.
The Gallatin River, made famous by the film "A River Runs Through It", provides a thrilling whitewater ride for the adventurous. The river descends from Yellowstone National Park through the Gallatin Canyon to eventually meet the Missouri. Traveling through roaring rapids, the wild ride culminates at the infamous "Mad Mile". Calmer scenic floats are also available. Geyser Whitewater Expeditions is located right here on our property, so arranging your Gallatin river adventure is easy. Geyser also provides horseback riding trips and bicycle rentals.
Big Sky Resort offers Basecamp to Yellowstone, a unique collection of alpine adventures unparalleled in the region. Fly through the mountain air on the Big Sky Zipline Adventure. Take in a breathtaking vista at 11,166 ft. by riding the Lone Peak Tram to the summit of Lone Peak. From the top, you can see the mountains of Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons and the very curvature of the earth. For a thrilling personal or team challenge, try Big Sky's high ropes course. You are safely harnessed in while you attempt features such as the Pirates Crossing or Swinging Beams under the supervision of a skilled guide.
The surrounding mountains offer an abundance of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding, while the Gallatin River and surrounding rivers and lakes beckon fly-fishing, rafting, and kayaking enthusiasts alike.
