Nice room with great view

Pros: Location; scenery, and comfort and modern design of the room.
My wife and myself spent 4 nights at the perfectly located Swissotel. We would repeat our stay in a heartbeat. Our only remark is about the Turkish Bath where, upon check-in and over the phone, we were told it was complimentary but when we wanted to try it the Spa asked for 200 Turkish Lira. We don't believe it was a miscommunication rather not a professional way to treat customers.

Nice quality hotel

Location: The place of the hotel is on the hearth of Istanbul. So close to Nisantasi and Taksim. Also its easy to visit grand bazaar by using the coast road.
The quality of the hotel, amazing view from the rooms and lounge area. Also the staff is the most friendly hotel staff I have ever seen

pleasant experience

very nice facilities and excellent location and service. You feel warmly welcomed the moment arriving at the hotel. I had an executive suite facing the Bosphorus and it was beautiful. Love the Turkish bath. nice gym facility. will definitely stay again.

Pros: Le souvenir que j'en avais, et le personnel absolument irréprochable.
Cons: La communication
Location: Proche à pieds du terminal de Kabatas d'ou partent des croisières sur le Bosphore et du tram. A pieds du palais de Dolmabahce. Taxim en taxi.
On ne vous le dit pas au moment de la réservation. Vous gardez en souvenir un lobby géant doté d'une baie vitrée immense qui domine le Bosphore, parmi les meilleurs restaurants de la ville, une terrace au sommet de l'aile ouest boire un verre en regardant scintiller la corne d'or. En ce moment, la moitié de l'hotel est fermée, dont l'aile ouest en entier, et le lobby coupé en deux n'a plus du tout de baie vitrée, ni de vue. Plus aucun restaurant, sauf à déjeuner dans ce lobby aveugle et réduit de moitié. Tout le monde comprend que l'hôtel ait besoin de se refaire une jeunesse, mais le site internet DOIT préciser que les travaux sont en cours et DOIT lister les prestations non-proposées en raison des travaux. Sinon, la pratique est déloyale, et voisine du mensonge puisque le Client réserve sur la base de prestations non-offertes et pourtant vantées sur le site internet de l'hôtel. A recommander absolument, mais après les travaux. Autant le dire, une immense déception.

To avoid similar dissapointment we wish to assure that it is utmost importance to us to communicate our renewal phase with our guests prior to arrival , for this reason advance information regarding our renewal project is distributed to all agencies/companies, as well as our Swissôtel web page and third party web booking sites and is printed on hotel reservatıon confirmation letters. Please be assured your comments has been shared with our Sales team to ensure maximum care is taken regarding all communication to avoid similar disappointment with our guests. We would like to take this opportunity to further update on our renewal phase; having completed the renovation of our 4000 m² Purovel Spa & Sports and 63 Deluxe suites in our Living building we are now about to complete the 2nd phase of our renewal - our West Wing rooms hope to re-open January, followed by the re-opening of our Café Swiss Restaurant with a brand new concept in Spring 2015 and our outdoor pool & Gaja - our Roof top Restaurant & Bar will be ready for the summer season. As of the new year after the opening of our west wing we will enter the final stage of our renovation – East Wing Rooms & lobby.
