This hotel is a hidden gem in Interlaken West. The place was well kept, the staff was very nice and friendly. I’m looking forward to stay again during my next trip to Switzerland. The Hotel is located just 5 minutes away from the West Interlaken train station which is so very convenient.

The location is just 5 mins walk from Interlaken West station and they offer you a transport card that you can travel around interlaken! The stay was enjoyable and I love this hotel!

We were charmed by this little Edwardian hotel close to the center of Interlaken. It is clean, has comfortable beds, and serves a lovely breakfast. Other pluses: it’s in a quiet residential neighborhood but just a short walk to the town center and it has a friendly elderly dog who will greet you in the lobby at the end of a long day.

Very beautiful area to stay. Location was great to train stations to see all the sites. When coming back from a busy day it was nice to get on our outdoor balcony/terrace with a cup tea and enjoy watching the paragliders. Breakfast was good.

The property has a lovely feel to it. Nice and clean, quiet and comfortable. Lovely reception area, comfortable bed and bedding, amazing shower. The only downside if you have heavy bags, there is no lift. But that really didn't detract from it.

Loved the quirky decor and the beautiful location. The included breakfast was delicious. You may want to bring your own shampoo/body wash etc as the provided stuff comes in very small single use sachets

The hotel was very convenient to get to from the Interlaken West train/bus station. We loved our little balcony and especially appreciated the excellent breakfast that was included.

A little gem
This is a gem of a hotel in a fabulous place. Old fashioned, cosy and clean with super-friendly staff who all speak good English. A very short walk to the train station and supermarkets

The hotel is located in a nice area near the Interlaken west station. A lot of good restaurants, shops, and bus stops are reachable in 5 mins. The staffs are very kind and welcoming. The breakfast was surprisingly very delicious and ironically it was the best meal I had during my Interlaken trip

This was a great older hotel that was well-maintained and kept up. The bedding and pillows were amazing with a nice feather down. The showerhead, strong pressure with nice hot water. The area is great and a quick walk to the main strip.

The Hotel is located in a nice quiet neighborhood a very short walk away from the town center. It is a very charming boutique hotel. Our room had a spacious rooftop balcony facing the nearby mountains. The included breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel also has a coin operated washer and dryer, which was very convenient. We really enjoyed the quiet relaxing atmosphere and would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers.

Hotel de la Paix is the perfect hotel for someone travelling to the Interlaken area- it is located close to the city center, has free parking, the rooms are comfy, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is very good and reasonably priced, and overall excels in every aspect of what you would look for in a hotel! I will definitely stay here again!!!!

Clean, comfy, good Wi-Fi!
Our stay was lovely. The couple who runs the hotel is so kind and helpful. Room felt very clean and cozy. We were not sure about the Wi-Fi because we saw negative reviews but we had zero issues and we were even working remotely and had to do video calls and there were no problems. The location is great, we would definitely stay again!

The hotel is well managed by friendly staff. It is a few minutes away from Interlaken West station, which was great for traveling around. It is in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. Serving breakfast is a plus. The only problem I had was due to unusual heat wave. I had to depend on fan and ice, since there was no AC.

A quiet little gem in Interlaken
The hotel is in a fab location and a 7 minute walk from the train station. We had a really nice room with its own little balcony, which was a real bonus, as we visited in a heatwave. Rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfast is plentiful. Our hosts, Charlotte and Hermann, were so helpful and welcoming and we can't rate it highly enough.

Staff are excellent, very friendly and eager to help. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of high quality food. No AC, and windows open hair a crack, but the provided fan was good enough. Very close to Interlaken West station and very easy to get around. Would stay here again.

This is a lovely old hotel, but completely retrofitted with current conveniences. Airy room, nice bathroom. Sitting rooms on the first floor and plenty of space on the patio for dining or gathering.

What a charming place! Stayed here for a night, front desk was very welcoming, the decor was great to look at, the rooms were perfect for us. They were single rooms with own WC. Very confortable, with interesting decor. My son also had a room, and his was decorated differently than mine. We were both comfprtable in our respective spaces. The clientelle seemed to range from younger travellers to older ones (like me!) The breakfast was delicious, in the european style with breads, yoghurt, meats and cheeses, as well as some hot offerings. They had apple juice pressed from their own apple tree in the yard. Great spot, friendly, clean, good breakie and great price. Don't hesitate to stay here.

I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Interlaken! The hotel is close to the town center, on site parking is free, the staff is super friendly, the breakfast is amazing, the rooms are comfy, and it is just an overall great hotel experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
