Berlin Vacations

Berlin is part of Albany, a famous city that boasts a population of 98,000 residents. The city center of Albany is only 20 miles (32 kilometers) away, while Albany International Airport is located 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northwest of Berlin.

Berlin is within easy reach of many of Albany’s well-known sights. The Grafton Lakes State Park and the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute are amongst the many popular places to visit. If time permits, be sure to also visit the Williams College Museum of Art and Hopkins Observatory.

Albany is known as being home to The Egg. This iconic landmark is less than 1 mile (1.6 kilometers) from the middle of town.

If the sun is out, do what the locals do and make the most of the nearby green spaces. Go for a long walk in Mount Greylock in Adams.

Spend a few hours with fellow baseball lovers at Joseph L Bruno Stadium, cheering on local favorites, the Tri-City ValleyCats. On game days the stadium overflows with red, grey and white, as local baseball lovers join together to get behind their home-grown heroes.

For a real taste of this fascinating part of the world, think about booking a room close by in one of the area’s many accommodation options. The Vacation Village in the Berkshires, Hancock, the Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort, Hancock and the Howard Johnson Williamstown are just some of the best places to find a warm welcome and a good night’s rest.
