The hotel is in a great location and has a metro station just around the corner. I loved my room, it was pretty spacious and bright, as well as comfortable. The only reason that I’m not giving this hotel the best rating is the check in process, where I almost got double charged for my room, but luckily noticed the mistake on time, as well as that I didn’t get any housekeeping even though I was staying for 4 nights and followed the hotel’s instructions on how to request for it. Still, I’d recommend it for its convenient location and beautiful rooms.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and in a central and trendy area of Berlin. We had the most beautiful, well thought out signature room which added the feeling of luxury and Berlin culture to our experience. If I had anything to say against the hotel was the fact that the bed was extremely hard … but for a 4 night stay …I’m nitpicking!! We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family….thank you to all the amazing staff…!!

Great location, sleek room with comfortable bedding. Minimalist in design, could use more than one trash can and one more pics of furniture to accommodate two suitcases and the contents- while maintaining the modernity of the design. We checked in on Tuesday and checked out on Saturday, our room was only cleaned once. We left a sign requesting cleaning. I’m not sure why our room was not cleaned. Regardless, the staff was very nice and the location was well worth it.

It was a strange hotel while the staff/. Reception was great. The rooms seem to be cleaned every other day. It lead the towels to get a little stinky. The hotel did come in handy in a pinch and made our visit really nice. It is in a great location to see the sites we wanted to see

We order the suite room which was more expensive, The bed mattress was terrible and tuff, me & my wife couldn't sleep the all night on that bed and both started the next day with back pains, we have contact the front desk and ask to move to another room and was told the hotel is fully booked and if we want we can check out, we did so and book another hotel and after we made the pre payment to th new hotel , the front desk person who confirm to us to check out said she is sorry but its not her call to confirm it and we cant get any refund for the remaining nights, we have asked to speak urgent with the hotel manager that was not there and for 3 days we tried to reach him with no reply, only after 4 days we manage to get an email from the hotel manager saying we will not get any refund and we should leave the hotel (he didn't care that his front desk manager confirm to us to check out), I never saw such a behaviour, they just dont care about their guest and know most of them will arrive for one time and will never get back to this hotel, what a shame!

The location of this property and the aesthetic of the lobby and reception area is the best part of this property. The issues are small and fixable if the hotel owner chooses to fix them. When we arrived at the room, we were disappointed to find that there was no interesting artwork as shown in the photos online. There was also no fold-away luggage rack in the room, but there was plenty of space to have included one. The safe was tiny and could not even fit a 13" laptop. There are black-out curtains, but not sheers so we were not able to let light in without exposing ourselves to the neighbors in the buildings next to us. The comforter barely fit the bed so if you laid at the edges of the bed, you were not covered. And on the day of our checkout, we were locked out of our room 30 minutes prior to the specified check-out time. But to end on a high note, the towels were the huge bath size, they provided nice cozy slippers for us during our stay and the air conditioner worked great!

Modern, well designed, comfortable (if rather small) rooms. Stylish design & excellent location - short walk to Alexanderplatz, Hackesher Markt, cathedral, Fernsehturm. Note that, at the time of writing, the hotel is not able to provide breakfast - but there are no shortage of cafés within a 5 minute walk.

Location is very good, however signs to show entrance are not very visible. (we noticed more than one person looking for the way in) Restaurant is closed, TV did not wok for the 6 of 8 days of our stay, lights would constantly go out, bed comforter was not replaced (after housekeeper was already in).

Hello, this is my third time staying at this hotel and apparently now with Corona they have changed the rules regarding the cleaning routine. in 4 nights they have not come into my room to change towels, bed and sheets. i also asked to change something regarding the shower and have had no feedback on this. a bit disappointing to be honest.

No way it has a good review
Overall the hotel is disappointing. Attracted by the good review in many portals, I book it for three nights and I was completely disappointed at the moment you step in, because this hotel does not deserve a 8+ review. Small room, annoying bulky bed, no privacy with open curtains, so you have to close al the curtains and turn on the lights. No reception, no service, no door for the bathroom, no closet. Good wifi and TV. Location is good. There are way better hotels in that price category and location.

A well located and comfortable hotel. Definitely worth booking if a low price is available. Original hotel but a few design flaws such as no shelf in the shower and only limited hanging space for clothes. The main entrance to the hotel was locked late at night meaning guests needed to use a side entrance which didn't feel totally safe. A good standard of customer service and friendly welcome to the hotel was lacking. Sometimes it's the small things that count.

Great location, close to attractions, public transport, restaurants and shops. Very helpful staff. I really missed not having a small fridge in the room and the room key via the mobile phone app failed twice, once very late at night!

Best location - a modern hip hotel built up in a part-preserved, now rebuilt older part of central Berlin, a few streets away from the Alexanderplatz, the East Berlin steppe that resembles Beijing. Direct at a U-Bahn Station, lots of shops, funky galleries and a good choice of restaurants within steps of the hotel. The hotel itself is a model of a very modern Berlin hotel - some rooms have iMacs as TVs, service perfect and super nice. Stayed for the third time. BTW it's cheaper to park on the street and (not) pay the 10 € fine per day if you have to - at that level, the parking fines have not been pursued for cars with foreign plates.

Location and beds are tops.
Great location - easy access to all areas of interest while in Berlin. Beds were great - firm and comfortable. Great shower. As others have commented, breakfast could do with some improvement and then this would make it unbeatable :) Also it is a shame that tea/coffee facilities are not available in room. Even if you could grab a cup downstairs I’m sure guests would be very appreciative. Staff were always pleasant.

It was nice but not comfortable. It was quiet which i appreciated. Shower was awful and no shelves to put your toiletries/ soap or shampoo. The bed was literally hard as a rock- hardly slept at all the three nights i was there. I did like the sitting areas downstairs and how close it was to the subway and major sites. They offered breakfast for a fee but it should really be included as a courtesy.
