The hotel may be on the expensive side but it is value for money. The staff are friendly and efficient. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is just opposite the Sony Centre and is in the heart of Potsdamer Platz. The only drawback was that breakfast was not included.

We really enjoyed staying here - fabulous suite, great location and the breakfast delicious. Dining room very light, airy and relaxed. Would have been nice to have had dinner there but on Friday, they are invariably fully booked. The restaurant is not open on Sat and Sun. Would stay there again.

“Excellent Hotel”

We can thoroughly recommend the Mandala Hotel as a place to stay in Berlin. Our accommodation was a suite on the 10th floor which afforded magnificent views of both the Sony Centre and Potsdamer Platz. The standard of the accommodation is extremely high and although we didn't use the Wellness Centre we did visit it and it looked marvellous. The hotel is very well placed with easy access to all the main attractions. The Sony Centre directly opposite has numerous cafes, bars and restaurants and the Arkaden about 200m to the rear of the hotel is a large shopping centre with plenty of cafes and shops. 'Kaisers'at the far end of the Arkaden is an excellent supermarket which has everything that one might need. A taxi from Tegel airport to the hotel cost 17 euros and took about 20 minutes. Our room was not ready on arrival (10.30 am) as the hotel was fully booked and the suite had not yet been vacated by the previous occupants. This wasn't a problem as our luggage was securely stored and we were offered facilities to freshen up. We made straight for the Sony Centre and had coffee in one of the wonderful cafes. The hotel staff were all very courteous, efficient and helpful throughout. We would have no hesitation in staying at the Mandala again on our next visit.

“Top quality hotel in great location”

Upon arrival we were greeted with all smiles and a refreshing hand towel. The Executive Suite was very generous in size with great attention to details. The breakfast buffet is a must in the beautiful Facil restaurant. Would definitely return to The Mandala on my next trip to Berlin

“Cocktail bar and reception”

Fun to sit at the bar and watch the head barman mix the cocktails, the food at the bar was exceptional. The friendly reception staff helped us in every way possible thank you very much.
