“One of my favorite hotels EVER”
The Swisshotel Berlin is a beautiful hotel in a great location. The amenities offered ensured there was nothing missing from our experience. To top it off, the hotel staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and helpful with our numerous questions. I highly recommend this wonderful property!
“Fantastic”
The staff were friendly and incredibily helpful. Made our stay a real pleasure. Hotel is in a great location.
“Great hotel with friendly staff”
This was our first time in Belin and we did find that the hotel was quite a distance from many of the biggest tourist attractions. Having said that, the public transport system in Berlin is very easy to use and a Berlin Welcome Card meant that we were able to hop on and off trains as we pleased. There is an underground stop around the corner from the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is close to shops and many different restaurants. The staff at the hotel gave good recommendations for places to eat, including Gasthaus Krombach, which was a delightful German restaurant. Throughout our stay we found all of the staff that we dealt with to be very friendly and helpful. When we asked if there was somewhere to leave our bags before our late afternoon flight on our final day, they arranged for us to have a late check out instead. We didn't eat at the hotel but did enjoy an evening in the cocktail bar! There is an extensive range of cocktails, which were quite reasonably priced for a city centre hotel bar - around 10 Euros.
“Swissotel Berlin”
We had a short 3 day stay in Berlin but found the hotel to be conveniently located (and accessible on bus & underground routes) to the sights in Berlin. Its not in the main tourist/shopping/ sightseeing area but there are still some great shops and sights nearby. We particular enjoyed KuDeWa. The concierges were very helpful with good restaurant and club recommendations. A very pleasant stay.
“Wonderful, romantic hotel”
Location was perfect (shorter walk than expected to the historical parts) room was spacious & very comfortable, staff were super friendly (especially the waitress who served us long island ice teas multiple times - highly recommended) If we ever return it'll be this hotel
“Fantastic hotel in brilliant location!”
It was an fantastisc hotel with a great location. Perfect for a weekend away :-)
“Would definitely stay there again.”
Hotel reception staff weren't very helpful - couldn't provide us a twin room when I didn't want to share a queen bed with a friend. I offered to buy another room and they wanted to charge me €50 more than was available online through a 3rd party. This was after moaning about me booking through expedia. I booked the cheaper option on the hotels coomputer in the lobby! Apart from that, it is a lovely hotel and we had a great stay. Nice modern clean rooms and comy beds, good location too.
“Perfection!”
WOW! This place is amazing. We were upgraded to a superior room upon arrival and escorted to the room to ensure it met our specific needs. Huge room, beautifully presented and spotlessly clean throughout our visit. Lovely view over the city but nice and quiet. The staff were extremely helpful, very polite and multilingual and had excellent local knowledge - recommended a lovely restaurant just 5 minutes walk away. The next time we head to Berlin, we will be booking our room here!
“One of Berlin's finest”
Centrally located hotel in west Berlin, breakfast a little expensive but lots of food available locally. Within walking distance of main attractions or easy access to bus/train/tube for non walkers. Generously proportioned room, immaculate bathroom, helpful and very courteous staff.
“Perfect for families”
This was our first holiday with our 4 month old baby. We were given a larger room to accommodate a cot and the hotel gave us a bath support, toiletries for her, bath thermometer etc. The corridors were great for walking her to sleep (they go round in a complete circle!!) and thank goodness for soundproofed rooms! Breakfast was expensive but good. Staff were super helpful & hotel very clean and stylish.
