City breakPosted 20-Apr-2014
Pros: Location, cleanliness, room service, helpful staff.
Cons: Noise. Bar to close a little earlier on friday nights.
Location: All sites are within walking distance except east gallery which is two trains away.
The location was excellent and the most attractive feature of the hotel. All attractions and sites were walkable. 25min was max time to get to the Reichstad. Excellent shopping at Alexa plaza which is a 10min brisk walk. Room was comfortable and practical. I stayed in a room facing the aquarium which was also facing the bar downstairs and was therefore quite noisy at night. I would request a room facing the city next time to minimise the noise and get outside air. Good for a couple of days and room service was very efficient and sufficient.

Great ChoicePosted 18-Apr-2014
Pros: Particularly the aquarium and location
Cons: The hotel restaurant was excellent for breakfast but a little limited beyond that.
Location: Perfectly located for Museum Island and right on the 100 bus route which goes past a whole host of attractions such as Brandenburg Gate.
Excellent location across from museum Island. Great hotel, great place to stay. The highlight for me was the huge aquarium in the foyer which provided a superb backdrop to the entrance. Couldn't have asked for more.

Wonderful Hotel - Very Pleasant & Hassle Free StayPosted 15-Apr-2014
Pros: - Friendly + Helpful + Kind Staff - Good facilities and Set Up - Great Location + more
Cons: Cheaper prices of the drinks in the Mini-bar (we just got drinks from local store and stored it in the fridge which was fine)
Location: Good location with good nearby sights/shops/destinations/transport.
a wonderful hotel with great facilities, views and very friendly and helpful staff. the room itself was also very nice with good capabilities. a balcony with a good view too. TV had good variety of channels and it was an easy set-up to use my laptop through the HDMI port. Internet was also very quick and hassle free. Hotel kindly left Ethernet cable plugged in so i just plugged it straight into my nano wireless N router which gave us 5 bars of WiFi. (was 5 bars on laptops anyway but helped for mobile devices) All staff were very friendly and helpful. They all spoke very good English too which was great. i honestly don't have anything bad to say about this hotel, not even any little niggles. i highly recommend it !

Lovely hotel in good central locationPosted 14-Apr-2014
Pros: The staff were really helpful from the time we booked the trip to the day we departed. Well located for all the tourist sites in Berlin
Cons: The coffee in the rooms was not good, flavour wise
Location: Best thing we did was Fat Tyre bike tour and would recommend Derek as your guide.
We stayed with friends on a 4 night city break in April. All communication with hotel was superb even down to providing transportation advise from the airport. We arrived early and were allocated rooms on arrival which meant we could freshen up and take full advantage of the day. The assistance received from the Concierge & Reception desks was excellent providing information and train tickets which saved both time and money. All in all a lovely hotel, good location and excellent staff.
Dear Jackie, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to write about your experience. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your stay with us in Berlin. Furthermore we will bear in mind your honest comment about our in-room coffee making facilities. We look forward to your next visit. Best regards, The Radisson Blu Team

great location, beautiful and friendlyPosted 13-Apr-2014
Pros: location, friendliness, ambience, cleanliness
Cons: can't think of any
Location: The Berlin Dome, museums on the museum island, river cruise, German History Museum etc are all within steps from the hotel.
My bus from the airport stopped right across from the hotel. The lobby with the giant blue aquarium was jaw-dropping. Johannes at the front desk was witty, friendly, helpful and informative. He even surprised us with a birthday cake. The location could not have been better. It is right across the river from the Berlin Dome and Museum Islands. Walking distance to many major attractions. Public transports stop within steps from the hotel. I travel extensively but this is one of the best hotel there is. The breakfast was worth the price. Would recommend it to any travellers. Sure glad we did pick this one.
Dear Elizabeth, we appreciate your kind feedback. It was a pleasure to be your host in Berlin. We will share your great review with our entire team, especially with our front office clerk Johannes. We are looking very much forward to welcoming you again when travel brings you back to our beautiful city! Kind regards, The Radisson Blu Team

Great hotel near all main sightsPosted 11-Apr-2014
Pros: Breakfast, a vast selection of all types breakfast food. A massive aquarium in reception.
Cons: A slightly more comprehensive menu would improve the dining room.
Location: Superb location, used a ''Hop on, Hop off'' with a 2 day ticket (cost 24euros) which allowed us to see the city sights and go back next day to explore
Staff are all english speaking and we found them to be helpful at all times. Room clean and well appointed, towels changed each day.

Ideal location. Central to the CityPosted 7-Apr-2014
Cons: The main lifts were a little erratic! Sometimes a long wait was needed to grab one. Especially at busy times.
Location: Very central, close to museums, shopping, historical buildings, river trips, walking tours etc. Great location.
The hotel was excellent overall. Almost everything was as described. Staff were pleasant and the room was fine. Very clean, very quiet, with a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. I wish I had paid more for a better view, perhaps one of the giant aquarium, but I had a view of the main road which was interesting. The location of this hotel is ideal. Easy access to all the main attractions, with the Brandenburg gate and the Reichstag at the end of a good walk from the hotel. I enjoyed my seven nights at the hotel.
