Had an executive room overlooking the river and Berlin dome. Excellent hotel with good breakfast. Area around not as good as other parts of Berlin. But every were has easy access. Recommend meal at top of tv tower.

Great hotel

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: The duration of my stay lol
Location: Great location, right in the centre most of all the big attractions within walking distance
Clean and really comfy, lots to see and do and that's before you get out and about, loved the aquarium in the central atrium, staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely go back in a flash

Lovely hotel and very central.

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: It's situation was perfect for all public transport and standard of staff was excellent.
Cons: Tea/coffee facilities in room. Would have liked milk for tea not powdered cream. Mirror above dresser would have been very useful.
Location: Excellent location for bus and river tours. Easily walkable to major interests i.e. Berlin Wall, a Checkpoint Charlie and museums and monuments etc.
Had a lovely experience. Hotel beautifully clean. Easy to find all places of interest and only had to ask staff for advice.

Fabulous hotel and great location

Posted 18-Aug-2014
We stayed at the radisson for our 6 night honeymoon in Berlin. We had visited the city before and had always fancied staying in the hotel and it really did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived the staff were absolutely excellent, taking our bags in for us until our room was ready which left us free to explore the city bag free, they then moved them to our room for us! We has further great service from the staff at the bar, stine particularly providing us with excellent service despite only being new herself! The cleaning staff were also really lovely, never failing to say hello to us on the corridors. The room itself was lovely, the beds were extremely comfy and the view of the aquarium was so relaxing and calm. The room was always spotlessly clean and the facilities were great. The pool at the hotel although not massive was completely suitable for the amount of people that ever came swimming at one time. Again, these facilities were always completely clean and well maintained. After a warm day in the city having a pool to come back and have a swim in was absolutely great - a real perk that we had never had the luxury of in Berlin before. In terms of location this hotel is literally second to none. We walked everywhere throughout our whole stay - only needing transport to get to and from the airport! This might not be to everyone's taste - but can be done. Additionally, there are tons of eating and drinking places right nearby!

Position, position, position

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: There is always room for improvement, but we were totally satisfied.
Location: Excellent location - so close to Berliner Dom, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag, Potsdamer Place, Museum Island, Rotes Town Hall, Unter den LInden etc
Fantastic hotel in a great central position. Room with a small balcony and view over the Berliner Dom and the River Spree was wonderful and atmospheric. Hotel facilities and eating areas were excellent. The central focus in the reception area, the fish tank, provided a special feature and the hotel provided a fitting end to our overseas holiday.

Central location, good views

Posted 18-Aug-2014
Pros: Location, design of lobby, helpful staff, late checkout time.
Location: Marinekirche , Berlin's oldest church with the Totentanz frieze is across the road. Nikolaiviertel , the rebuilt medieval quarter, is 5 minutes walk.
We were on the quiet side, in other words away from the main road, but had a glimpse of the cathedral from our balcony. Great location, you can get to Alexanderplatz in 10 mins on foot, Museum island in 5, Branenburg Gate in 20. Hotel classy with everything you could need for a good stay. We didn't opt for the breakfast as there were great cafes very close by.

Top location and excellent amenities

Posted 16-Aug-2014
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and professional. The room amenities were excellent. The location is ideal for walking to many city attractions.
Cons: One side of the hotel looks right into offices, so there was no privacy with the curtains open. The windows should be frosted.
Location: It's a short walk to the Museum Insel, Lustgarten and the restaurants in Hackesher Markt. Take an evening stroll along the River Spree.
I had a great stay at the Radisson Blu. The location is one of the best in the city and within walking distance of the major sights - Museum Insel, Berliner Dom, Alexander Platz, and the Spree River. There were so many things to do in the area, especially dining in the Hackesher Markt and shopping in Hackesher Hof. I also enjoyed going out for a run along the River Spree. The room had excellent amenities and was very comfortable. It was quiet and the bed was quite comfortable.

Central to all Berlin

Posted 15-Aug-2014
Pros: Convenience and location
Cons: The staff could be warmer Poor signs in English
Location: Stay here, buy a Berlin pass for the three zones when you land in the airport and you are all set for moving around this wonderful city.
Very central and convenient to all nearby attractions. The hotel is next to the Spree river. One of the hotel's restaurant is by the river, a great dinner experience for the view if not necessarily for the food. The entry to the stairs within the fish tank (a major advertisement of the hotel) is a separate from the hotel and charged. Overall, a good experience, mainly for the convenience. The rates are reasonable given the overall high prices in Germany.
