The staff are kind . The breakfast is good and delicious although it is very basic , at least I am stuff. The supermarket Rewe is adjacent . However , it seems all European hotels do not provide toothbrush and toothpaste . Unfortunately , this hotel does not provide USB socket for me to charge my smartphone . I am happy with this hotel . Thank you very much .

This was our 5th stay, it’s a great little hotel with very decent prices, the rooms are practical, clean and warm. The closeness to public transport and shopping excellent. We will book for next year again

This was my second stay here. It is a great location with excellent public transportation only a five minute walk away. It is clean and personnel is relatively friendly. I will always stay there again because it is inexpensive. I also prefer staying on the 5th floor facing the back because it is very quite. My one complaint is that it needs to be completely overhauled because some things are just plain broken and falling apart. You get what you paid for *smile*.

The hotel is close to public transport (S+ U Bahn), shops and restaurants. It is also a 10min walk to the Berlin Botanic Garden (worth a visit). The room was clean, there were always fresh towels, and the breakfast is good. The hotel does show signs of wear and tear, the bathroom in my room needed an upgrade (better lighting), and the location on a busy street means that you can hear traffic if the window is open. However, if you are using the hotel as a base for day trips or a short stay, these are minor issues.

I was allocated a room that had broken toilet flush and broken wardrobe. It was also not really clean. They were full and could not change the room. I was allocated a better room for further two nights that I had booked through a different website. The staff were friendly and helpful but the property is generally not clean.

The hotel is okay but not air conditioned, and it was brutally hot at night, mainly because the hallways trapped the heat and did not have any ventilation. It was like a sauna at night.

Good location and staff but poor confort
The hotel is a bit old fashioned but quiet and clean. The location is very good, a beautiful street near metro U9, Lidl and about 700m from chopping malls. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the confort is too poor: no Airconditioning, no mini bar, the room was too hot. They give us a too small ventilator but it changed nothing. Hotels are expensive in Berlin but for almost 90€/night it should have at least AC and a mini bar.

Tired and dated hotel, fantastic location.
The room was clean but basic. The bathroom was very dated with fixtures from the 80's/90's and had a peculiar and unpleasant smell. Our room had no air conditioning or fans to cool us down, the heat was unbearable to sleep with so we opened the door to cool the room down, to be left with the busy road noise instead. The staff were friendly and helpful however. The breakfast had limited choices and didn't offer great value for money. The area where the hotel is situated was fantastic, with easy direct train links within walking distance into the main Berlin tourist areas and Wannsee Lake. I wouldn't stay there again until they can remedy the room temperature and modernise the facilities.

Position is good . Only a short walk to the trains or buses, and close to a main shopping street (Schlossstrasse). Clean with nice staff, but you get what you pay for. A rather old shabby place, some rooms can be noisy next to the street.

Staff was nice and friendly. Though you don't get much amenities. There's a cheap eatery a few blocks away near subway. I give it a 6 out of 10. Not a 5 star. More like 3 star.

This hotel lacked basic facilities for the Euro 100+ rate. There were no toiletries, except for body was and shampoo. The elevator was rather old and very small. I requested for a power adaptor, which the hotel did not have. These should be basics, given that a city hotel caters to international travelers. On the positive side, the restaurant staff was very good. Mixed comments about the Reception as one staff member was helpful and the other was not. The location was excellent. The product in my opinion does not justify the rate.
