“Great for business trips to Berlin”
Nice hotel, fantastic breakfast (which they didn't charge me for!) and very friendly staff. It's a 15E taxi ride from Berlin Schoenefeld airport. The only thing is, the front facing rooms are parallel to a major road, but all rooms have thick windows - mine was open all night so it was a bit noisy! This is now my hotel of choice on business trips to Berlin. See you there!

“Nice enough hotel in Berlin”
The cabbies couldn't find it very easily, but this friendly medium sized hotel is actually well located in the suburbs, half way between Schonefeld Airport and central Berlin. My room was a good size an very clean. The food was OK and staff were very helpful - particularly given the general strike that was on in Germany!
“its cheap but it aint 4 stars”
its very cheap hotel compare to all other berlin hotel, but in the summer time it be horrid, cuz GErmans( or european ) they dont believe in Air Conditioner, so you have to open the window when you sleep and ITS SO NOISY with cars running around, overall its nice. if you dont have a car, this hotel might be a bit problem, cause its kind a far from train, but we drove to berlin, so if you have a car with you, its nice and easy cause it close to A100 (which a autobahn that connect you to everything) but kindly note this is NOT a 4 four star which what expedia quote, this is like any other cheapy hotel.
“Clean & Comfortable just a long way out”
We booked this hotel based upon the reviews, what we didn't realise is it is quite a way out of the city. The bus stop is about 200m away and the U-Bahn 1500m, it cost us about 10euro a day for return travel to the city. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious, the road however is noisy and there is no room service or tea making facilities. You can however, get tea from reception where they will make you a cup!

“Good hotel in the outskirts of Berlin”
We were very impressed with the hotel, the service and the breakfast. In the area are shops and restaurants close by and the hotel restaurant is as well to recommend after a long day exploring. The main disadvantage was that it's not in the centre of Berlin but ca 1/4 hour bus and 1/4 hour train ride away. So if you don't mind that then it's great. The bus 171 goes directly from airport Schonefeld to the Hotel (Zadek Straße) mostly every 20 minutes. Good for Estrell Centrum as the bus 171 passes there as well (ca 15mins). We would recommend it.
“A port in the time of Storm”
Very friendly hotel staff. However, this hotel is not near anything that we were interested in. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit dated and plain. The hotel met our most simplest needs. We slept well and had private baths and breakfast. But beyond this the hotel has little to offer (besides friendly helpful staff).
“Good place, but NOT a four starts hotel!”
The star rating is way exaggerated. I would say two-two and a half is the most it deserves. The room was fine, and the price was good for a low budget trip. I recommend it because i is an affordable solution, but once again, don't expect a 4* quality because there won't be.
