This was my second visit to Zoo Hotel and I will definitely return. It's a beautifully decorated building with luxury rooms, a brilliant bar and breakfast, approachable and helpful staff and the best lounge for relaxing in. Also, an ideal base for discovering Berlin away from the usual overly tourist areas.

Great Location - lovely Hotel
Fabulous hotel in the centre of Berlin and great location. Great room and very spacious and clean with quirky art in each room. Hotel bar and restaurant fabulous and breakfast was lovely.

The hotel is pretty. But on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays there’s a lot of club noises and if you are a light sleeper like I am, it is not ideal. Overall, this hotel is a nice place but the hundred euros a night extra that they charge as a security fee is not ideal in addition to one of the highest taxes I have experience in Europe.

Excellent hotel but it has a strange elevator that flashes at you when you take it to their room. Would not stay again just because of that.

The hotel was stylish and modern. Our room(s) were very good. Style may have given way to practicality in some aspect e.g the cups in the room were pretty useless and the power points next to the bed were difficult to access. I would say that whilst we liked the look and feel of the bar the staff were not in the least customer focused. Very disappointing.

Amazing time and great hotel
Great hotel! The rooms were nice however i did wish that the AC went lower that 19. Staff was incredible . The lounge downstairs is great and definitely a scene. Will definitely come back agaian!

Good customer service
We were upgraded to a better room but the room ended up not having any air conditioning and no engineer on duty. Suffered for a night leaving the windows open to cool the room down and my son got bitten by mosquitoes. Not a great start but the staff sorted it out the next day by giving us a further upgrade and the room was fabulous. We enjoyed the rest of the stay very much. Would recommend!

A beautiful hotel in a great area. Being on the West side of the Tiergarten it is off the tourist route but is still right in the heart of things. It is well served for U and S Bahn stations, shops, cafes and bars and you can definitely eat and drink in places along with the locals and be the only tourists there. The hotel itself is really nicely designed. The bar is separately run and is a real hotspot on Saturday nights with a DJ playing. We were lucky and squeezed onto a table in between bookings but I would definitely recommend booking if staying at the weekend, even of you are only looking to have one drink. We didn't use the restaurant at all as had not booked breakfast or meals but there was so much choice both locally and elsewhere that we just didn't need to use it. We did have some room service though and it was tasty and not too expensive. For us, this was a special occasion hotel so we are unlikely to stay here in the future but it is really great, could design and lovely staff so never say never...

Unfriendly staff combined with terrible manager. Room amenities are low quality, They do not supply even cotton pads.they have only maison margiela towels. VIP benefit is only soft drinks. Room were dirty. There were no sign about information related Grace Bar. If someone organize a private event, you should inform your hotel guests! I was too tired and want to dine in Grace ; but there were private event without any infos. There is also no written information; breakfast is 42,5 Euro per person. Stay away this scam.

I’m too sexy for your business.. this should be the title of this hotel. Yes it’s clean but if you want excellent service hmm nope not here. They say the first impression & last impression stick with you & my checkin and checkout fell extra short of anything good. At checkin the bellhop who took my bags stood over the receptionist to know all my private business & how much I was paying. At checkout the same thing happened but this time I asked the man to kindly step away so I could pay my bill with some privacy. Then when the receptionist asked how my long stay was (I stayed at the hotel for almost 3 weeks) I mentioned that it was frustrating that the hotel made it extra hard for guests to spontaneously get a table at the hotel restaurant & that it would be amazing if they could always have one or two tables always available to guests who wanted to be spontaneous about their dinner plans. Well when I mentioned this the other receptionist who had nothing to do with our conversation jumped right in & started shouting at me loudly “well you should have a plan & make a reservation those are the rules & you should be more organized”. I asked her if this was how they treated all their customers or only the ones that are not celebrities or models. She again shouted at me in a very nasty tone to plan more. On the up side it’s literally right in the middle of everything in the west, so if you like shopping hustle & bustle & daily parties in the lobby it’s a great location. 3 stars.

The location of the hotel is great for exploring Berlin. Right in the heart of the main shopping district. The rooms are nice, however, beware, at the weekends, the hotel essentially turns into a nightclub. It seems that the hotel is more preoccupied with the restaurant and bar attracting weekend crowds that the hotel. Do not have a roll overlooking the internal courtyard, as the noise from the bar penetrates the rooms. Service at the bar is poor, but front desk staff are friendly.
