“Worth every penny!!!”
Much better than we were expecting!!!
“Excellent hotel - 2nd time here”
This was my second time here. As before, it's quiet and peaceful. Same high standard of service, staff very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and very clean, and cleaned every day. Had kitchenette for preparing breakfast and small meals. Also balcony for sitting in the cool autumn Berlin air. WIFI internet in room was excellent - fast and stable. And so, once again I'm thankful of finding this excellent hotel to escape from the hustle-bustle of London. And yes, I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this hotel to those wanting a relaxed holiday only 20 mins from the city centre.
“Very good hotel in a quiet part of Berlin”
The hotel is out of the way, but transport in Berlin is frequent so you can easily get to the center of the City by tram (M4 Albertinen Strasse ~ a 7 minute walk from the hotel, as a previous reviewer has said) and then the S Bahn. I stayed in a standard room and I was expecting basic, but the room was spacious; well maintained and came with a balcony. The Reception staff were very good. Locally it is quiet and maybe too far out for those who like to be close to the sites, but East Berlin (WeissenSee) does have a nice, almost, village feel and offers a good contrast to the busier center of the capital. Overall the hotel is one I would stay at again and a definite recommend in quality and in service.
“A very nice, out-of-the-way hotel”
We were very impressed with this place - modern decor, comfortable decent-sized room and bathroom. Microwave in the room. Public areas very nicely appointed. Friendly, helpful staff; good breakfast buffet. The only drawback is the location, on a quiet residential street in far northeastern Berlin. But it's a short walk to a tram and about 20 minutes to Alexanderplatz, from whence one can get anywhere on the S-bahn. Very highly recommended.

Un hôtel surprenant dans une rue anonyme de Berlin Est. Chaleureux, au personnel discret et disponible, Nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix. Nous avons également apprecié le calme, mais notre séjour sest déroulé en janvier... Alors en été ? Un hôtel bourgeois que nous recommandons a toutes personnes désirant se reposer dans un cadre confortable

“Excellent hotel - will return”
If you want a quiet and peaceful hotel then this is for you. I stayed here for 7 nights and would definitely return when next in Berlin. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Only 15 mins from the centre of Berlin, and close to Weissensee Lake/Park (great for relaxing/walking). Always felt safe walking around (even at night). My room overlooked a small park and was very quiet and peaceful. There was a kitchenette with cook-top, fridge and microwave for cooking small meals. The room was perfectly clean and tidy and cleaned every day. Good sized bathroom with shower and bath tub (perfect for relaxing after a hard days touring around). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only 7 mins walk you have a grocery shop, chemist, fruit and veg, nice bakeries and the post office too. Free 1 hour/day internet was included, but access was limited in the room. So I just took my laptop to the lobby to get a good connection (quick tourist browsing and emails. If you need more than that, then you're not really on holidays and should be back at work). Getting to the hotel - Take TXL bus from the airport to Alexanderplatz. Then tram M4 to Antonplatz or Albertinenstr. Then 7 min walk to the hotel, so easy that even I could manage it without getting lost.

“Great value, would stay there again”
Very good hotel and facilities for the price, set in pretty parklike surroundings that were stunning in the autumn. Peaceful and clean, you even get a microwave and fridge. It's a fair walk from the tram stop, which is a bit scary late at night depending on which way you walk, some routes are virtually unlit so be careful. Bear in mind it's at least 20mins from Alexanderplatz, so not good if you have very little time in Berlin, but it was a good base for my 3 day stay. It was interesting to see some of suburban east Berlin. Would stay there again without hesitation.
“Très bon séjour”
On regrette toujours la gastronomie et le service en restaurant de France ! Ce fut très agréable mis à part ça, le personnel est serviable et surtout ils parlent français.
