Good clean hotel not far from Potsdamer Platz, and from U-Bahn station.Ample breakfast, very good shower!

“Nice hotel near city center”

The Delta Hotel is a very nice hotel in former West Berlin. Although small by American standards, the room we stayed in had more than enough space. The room was clean and well-taken care of. The hotel felt very secure - it is a hotel where you drop off your room key at the front desk when you leave for the day. The desk is staffed 24-hours a day and all are very helpful. The only entrance in and out of the hotel is through the front door, so no one escapes notice of the front desk.

“Satisfied”

I thought that this hotel was good value for money. It is very close to a useful underground station and an easy walk to the Sony Centre, with cinemas and restaurants. We chose not to breakfast at the hotel as there were so many cafes in the nearby streets and downstairs at the "Arkade". The staff were most helpful and almost all spoke English. The room was comfortable but a little dark, my only complaint.

“Nice hotel, pity about the location”

This is a good budget hotel with plenty of facilities and friendly helpful staff. However I was unhappy about where the hotel was situated. I would not recommend it as a suitable hotel for single female travellers as there was some 'interesting' nightlife in the area. I avoided using the underground at night to get back to the hotel. The room was quite adequate, however my window did not close properly which made it hard to get any sleep at night. I found the single beds quite narrow and oddly quite short by German standards! On the plus side the bathroom was excellent; a ver good size and very nice shower cubicle. There was a TV in the room which (I think) had English language channels and there was a mini-bar which I discovered was free of charge. Very useful for water and other refreshments!

“Pity about the location”

This is a good basic hotel with good facilities, good staff and keenly priced rooms for a city-centre hotel. I booked this hotel because of its proximity to the Potsdamer Platz but was slightly disappointed with the area it was situated in. It was close to two U-bahn stops, making it easy to reach Zoobahnhof and then the 'Mitte' district. However I would not recommend this hotel to single travellers - especially female. Berlin is a safe city but this hotel is situated in a rather seedy area which is unfortunate considering how helpful the hotel staff was and the facilities available in the hotel and in the room itself.
