“Good choice”

We stayed in the Berlin Mark Hotel from 16th to 20th April. It was chosen after reading reviews by previous guests as well as prices, and it turned out to be a good choice. The hotel is central, being just off the Ku'Damm near the Gednaechnis Kirche. It is within easy walking distance of the Zoo S-bahn station and Zoological Gardens, as well as the Tiergarten and other places of interest. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurant with interesting menus and good food in the area; one in particular being the Ranke 2 on Rankestrasse, about 10 minutes from the hotel. For shopaholics, the KaDeWe is just a little bit further. Our twin bedded room was comfortable, very clean, with TV and minibar (untouched!).The bathroom was spotless and cleaned each day. Some reviewers thought that the breakfast room was small for the size of the hotel, but management seem to have taken notice of this point, and we experienced no problems at all. The breakfast buffet was really great, and you would have to be a real moaner not to be pleased with the selection of rolls, meats, fruit and cereals etc on offer. Two American ladies who sat at our table one morning were highly delighted with the hotel, which must mean something. Unlike Brits, Americans don't put up with second rate. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful,and would definitely stay at the Berlin Mark Hotel when visiting Berlin in the future.

Really good hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Just off the main shopping street in Berlin. Close to both U and S bahns. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again and would recommend to family and friends.

“Second stay”

This is the second time we have stayed at the Mark and our impressions are the same as first time. Very clean room with air con. Attentive staff and impressive choice at the breakfast buffet. It is very convenient for bus tours and public transport

“Impressive”

This last vacation we took a trip around Europe, Berlin's Mark was by far the best hotel we stayed in, beatiful rooms, great food, very good location, smiley staff...everything you need is there. And it wasn't the most expensive!

“Would definitely stay here again”

Berlin Mark Hotel is in a central location and was very clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, and the buffet breakfast had a great selection of food. All in all it was great value for money and I would definitely stay here again. Great restaurant across the road serving hearty German food.

“Great Tourist Hotel”

Our room was large, clean and quiet. The rates were reasonable. The hotel is walking distance to public transportation to air port and the rest of the city. The breakfast buffet was excellent. One of our better choices during are forty-seven day travels around Europe.

“Excellent Hotel - very satisfied”

The hotel is very conveniently located in Berlin. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. The rate is very reasonable, the room and bathroom is very clean. The buffet breakfast is amazing (do get down there before 9, since the dining room will be packed after that time). Very close to the S-Bahn and U-Bahn station.

“Very friendly and helpful staff”

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Mark Berlin Hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast was tasty despite the crowded room, the sleeping rooms were comfortable and clean; we returned to stay an additional two days the end of the week.
