“Superb find, and good value”
Let's get real: Most of the Berlin hotels in this price range are cramped and dumpy, far from transport, and staffed by creatures who seem to have studied customer service at Auschwitz. This place is lovely, very near the S bahn, which makes it easy to get just about anywhere. It is on the river, on a pleasant walking path. The gym is modest but well-maintained. The staff is courteous, gracious and helpful. And the building itself--a converted old dairy--is precisely the sort of smart, innovative architectural project that makes Berlin, though not my favorite city, worthy of respect. I had an excellent experience here and I recommend it.
“Fabulous hotel in quiet spot but not far from all that Berlin has to offer.”
We really enjoyed this hotel, It was in a very quiet spot with two wonderful restaurants near by. It was a 15-20 minute walk alolng the river to Brandenberg Gate, the Reichstag or Potsdammer Plaz.or about the same distance to the Zoo and the shopping centre of West Berlin. We will definately book this hotel next time we visit Berlin.
“One of the best!”
Beautiful setting,quiet,attentive staff gives this hotel a big thumbs up from us. The daily breakfast buffet is sumptuous. For sightseeing in Berlin, it's perfectly located near the Belleview S-Bahn station. Enjoyed walking along the Spree River trail and garden early morning or evening.Don't miss this hotel when touring or working in Berlin. Great value as well.

Great hotel the staff and amenities were great. Paid for an upgrade on the room with a river view. The room was spacious and very clean. The only down side of the stay was the breakfast, this was expensive especially given the choice of the buffett.

This hotel is beautiful... inside and out. Great service. Our fridge wasn't cooling properly (we had purchased groceries to save from buying breakfast) so they moved us to another room right away. Great location. 5 min walk to the subway station.
“A great hotel in Berlin”
Nothing more to add really, the staff were excellent and the hotel made our trip pretty perfect. The only suggestion would be some free water in the room. The minibar water was extremely expensive. There is however, a supermarket just along from the hotel, in a doorway and down some stairs. That discovery made getting water etc very easy.
“Comfortably Quiet”
We were very impressed by this hotel. 4* comfort, helpful staff and most importantly, in a very quiet and picturesque neighborhood right on the river Spree. Just one tube stop from the centre of town in an area very reminiscent of London's docklands. Good local restaurants and a supermarket 50 metres away. Just what you require after a full day's sightseeing!
“A very good place to stay in Berlin”
The hotel was very comfortable. However, when booking we were not informed that we were being given a room on a smoking floor. When we arrived we discovered that all floors except ours were non smoking. When we entered our room, the fact that it had been used for smoking was quite easy to smell. If we had known this, we would have chosen a different room/floor. Other than this, everything else was very good, especially the restaurant where we had breakfast on two occasions.
