“Pleasantly surprised.”
Still looking very new, room was a good size, restaurant menu offered a great selection and breakfast too, Underground parking was great.
“Reading Hilton - Lovely place but beds are hard”
The Reading Hilton is a lovely new hotel. The foyer is large and welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy Staff are friendly. The buffet breakfast is wonderful. My little boy loved the array of food on offer. The beds are too hard, and the Internet connection - darned expensive. From a child friendly point of view, the high chairs provided are not so good. My little boy was almost sliding out of the bottom of the chair, it was so inclined. I could not figure out how to put the back up straight. We had some medicine which needed to be kept cool, but the fridge in the room is a scanning one, and we were worried that we would get some sort of charge if we put anything in there. We ended up using ice from the machine. We had gone straight to the room, as our little boy was falling asleep. We thought that we would use room service, but they charge £5 tray charge. We ended up getting a delivery pizza.
