“Run down, but clean, with friendly, helpful staff.”

The hotel is quite run down, but clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and so no issues there. The room rate was very low and so I didnt expect anything else, and I wasnt disappointed.

“need of upgrade”

Hotel fabric in poor order and in desperate need of upgrade.Window rotting. No idea when room was last hoovered. Needed of a tin of paint!!! Breakfast, to their credit, was good. Although the hotel did not cost much it was the same price as other hotels in Reading. Lets hope they are in better repair for our next trip.
