First they offer free breakfast although they have the space i was informed they no longer have it. I had to call a number to check on at 2 in the afternoon. Nobody was ever at the front desk! I needed a couple extra pillows and was informed they had no extras. Next time I'll stay next door at The Red Roof

Place was terrible. Dirty and filthy bedding. We are trying to get money back. Didn’t stay we left right away. They are not cooperating to help us. We were there 1/2 hour. Can’t get a hold of manager

I wouldn’t let me worst enemy stay here. Both rooms we were showed smelled of someone smoking drugs, blood on the comforter, fire alarm hanging from the ceiling, bathroom was NOT clean and staff walking around barefoot! Broke machines for the “free” breakfast. Looks nice when they pay for their rating to be 7/10… dont be mistaken

At check in, said my credit card was declined. Used a different card. I called the 1st card & they said no transaction was attempted for that amount. If it was, I had more than enough available credit. There were no do not disturb cards for the doors. Next morning go down for breakfast, one of the "free" amenities. No breakfast, asked about a bill credit, no. Called Expedia & was told my reservation did not include breakfast (it's a free amenity) so if any of the other 3 vehicles there wanted breakfast, they were out of luck. Checked Expedia & the four room res types I could have made for that day after that, all showed free breakfast, not sure what's going on with that. After getting back from a wedding reception, go to our 2nd floor room & had to go back down because the key cards weren't working. When we came back from the wedding reception, more cars at the hotel than at Friday check in & when we left for the wedding Saturday. My wife joked, will they have breakfast now with more people? Next morning, saw some coffee & a few things out. DirecTV remote batteries needed replacing, said so on a message on the tv screen. Message in room about cleaning fees if mess left, yet one of the dressers had a bunch of empty shopping bags in it. Couldn't print receipt at checkout. I've stayed at some Quality Inn properties in the past, this was the worst we've ever dealt with. I would think twice before booking another Quality Inn property, definitely never stay at this one again.

Room was not ready at check-in time, TV was inoperable, kept knocking on the door in the morning even though we had 35 more minutes until chekc-out. Building is run down and out dated.

Booked for holiday weekend only 10min drive to the beach and town hub, staff was very nice and accommodating. The first room they put us in was kind of messy and dirty - it looked like it hadn’t been stayed in in some time. But we asked to be moved and we they apologized and put us in another room and the second room was perfectly clean. The surrounding neighborhood is run down and ghost town like but the Walmart is right next door and a couple fast food restaurants around. Overall a good stay for a fair price

Mainly, the room had an offputting odor. Also the pillows were small, definitely NOT standard size, more like square, couch pillow size. For the price I paid, this was VERY disappointing as the room was already very bare bones basic.

Stayed one night while passing through. Bed was comfortable with good linens. Clean room and bathroom with decent towels. Friendly staff. No elevator so if you have back issues you should request a room on ground floor. Breakfast was okay - products were probably from a dollar tree store (honestly). Would stay one night again if there’s no other options.

The room we had, has really bad dirty carpet with like pot burn marks. There was no fridge, the maintenance man brought one. The Tv was working, bit the cable box wasnt, and we had to fix the lanaguge on the tv. The guy said they normally dont rent this room. Breakfast was lame. But hey it is a cheap hotel. I was in town for an Ironman. If all you need is a reasonably clean room that at least had very clean beds and bathroom, and you dont mind having noisy other occupants, then it was fine. Dont know what the other guest abive me were doing. But thr banging noises (not thr bed) anf loud talking and screaming and kids running around when i was trying to rest for the event really sucks. It was so lound i dont know how they never head the noises. Area has plenty places to eat within walking distance. Its right at the highway, which is a huge plus. Just bring back some Quality in your name.

Priced too high
Friendly and helpful staff but definitely overpriced for the condition and semi-sketchy area. I paid $166 after taxes and feel it should have been $100 tops.

Many foods in the breakfast were out-dated. The receptionist used the only disabled parking space. The cigarette and pot smell in the lobby. The receptionist's "visitors" in the lobby. The lack of a top sheet on the bed. The size of the pillows. The lack of an elevator. Not placing my Granddaughter's and my rooms together - not even on the same floor.

The best thing about my stay was the customer service of Lynelle at the front desk for sure! The hotel needs updating. The room was adequate for my time there, but the floors felt sticky and gross and the breakfast was a huge disappointment. Will not be returning.

Just not the greatest!
Upon entering the faculty ever thing looked clean. I was placed on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator. I’m okay with the stairs but people with disabilities be aware. The hallways are disgusting. They have probably had no maintenance in awhile. A simple vacuum would improve it. The room was somewhat clean. The shower curtain smelled strongly of mildew. I sprayed it with Lysol to minimize the odor. The toilets had dried feces in it. The pillow smelled like Mens cologne, indicating that the pillow had not been changed or washed. The chair was completely stained all over including the ottoman. I would never sit on it or set something on it. The breakfast was extremely lame. Pancakes no syrup. Juice machine broken and everything was just sitting out in the open cold. It wasn’t the most pleasant place I’ve ever had. But it will get you through a night.

Decent hotel, friendly staff. Recently facelifted, fresh paint and linens. Continental breakfast left much to be desired, but not much to expect from a budget hotel. Overall fairly clean and convenient location off the highway and within 10 mins of downtown St. Joseph and beaches

Overall, it was a good place for an overnight stay. The bedrooms were fairly clean. The breakfast was decent but did not have hot foods that morning. The front counter person was very nice!

It did the job
Bed was comfortable and AC worked so it did the job. Fridge didn’t close, lock on the door was broke and the shower didn’t drain well. There was a breakfast but I would recommend going out if you want anything decent. All in all it was not great but it was a bed and less expensive then other hotels.
