“Purple Lotus”
An amazing and most surreal experience! I unreservedly recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet ambience, great service, and superb comfort!
“So So hotel in the center of foreign biz district.”
Ok Hotel. However, you'll need a good driver and a good map before you go because you'll never find it. The room was too bright and one of the lights could not be turned off as there's no switch except the key switch when you leave the room, which is just terrible. It has big fridge, things to cook and plates, but where do you get the ingredients to buy around there? The internet connection is terrible and it just doesn’t connect and or have to refresh every single page to load correctly. Staff is not experienced in service industry.
“A pleasant experience in the hotel”
A very modern design of the new hotel, started about 2009. Little inside a small lane off Lavelle Road, but both MG Road and Vital Mallya Road are within walking distance. Very nicely located for people on vacation or business in City center. Staff are very cordial and pleasing in behavior, though you may not get as efficient service as in 5 star hotel. But what you will miss in service quality, will more than off-set with their sincere behavior. Overall a very pleasant stay for me.
“Purple Lotus Hotel, Bangalore, India”
This was my second week-long stay at the hotel within a short span of 5 months! I found it to be consistently comfortable, for a moderately priced boutique hotel. The obscure location can be a bit challenging for visitors who are not familiar with the area, although there are are good landmarks such as the Prestige Emerald Building and the Airlines Hotel in the vicinity. It is within a short walk of the UB City complex where you can shop and eat at some nice places. One thing I would definitely change at the hotel is the complimentary breakfast menu which was identical during both my visits in September of last year and more recently this month. You get tired of seeing and eating the same breakfast every day of the week! Other than that, it has been a pleasing experience, overall!
