“Great room, hotel description was a little deceptive.”
Our room was more that we expected. It had a full kitchen, living room and a terrace. You need to pay for snorkel tours because the snorkeling in front of the hotel is bad. You can only see murky green water. The dive shop staff is not very helpful. The only suggestion I got from them was to book a tour with them. The hotel description said that they had kayaks available. There was only three kayaks that are shared with Belizian Shores. You need to take a water taxi or rent a golf car to go to town. There is not much to do near the hotel. The room was great but I would choose a hotel with more amenities nearby.

This hotel is lovely. Rooms are huge and clean. Swim up bar and workers are great
“Go to Belize, and stay at Coco Beach”
One of the most incredible experiences we have had. The people of Belize are so friendly and kind. Prices are moderate and not exagerated. Plenty of activities to do, Mayan ruins, Zipline over the jungle and of course all the water sports you can muster. Special treatment at the hotel, Coco Beach from massages on the beach to awesome service from the guys at the Bar. Special shout out to Milton! I researched trip advisor for about a month and kept coming back to Coca Beach as the place to stay and I am so glad we chose it. The reviews are true and correct even without the restaurant plenty of food from the sister resort or next door. They deliver too without charging. We walked to San Pedro along the beach and got to personally see other resorts and I personally think Coca Beach is one of the nicest..
“Absolutely beautiful”
Having been to Ambergris Caye 5 times previously, this was a shot in the dark and one I am so happy I took! This property is new(er) and is just lovely. THe grounds were teneded to constantly, and were very beautiful. The pools and bars and buildings were all in great shape. Well worth the $, as many other less than stellar resorts are in really rough shape for the same price. ALl of the staff went out of their way to acomodate any request. Our room, booked as a luxury room, was its own casita - and was very handsomely decorated, and tastefully modeled/up to date. We would definately go back and stay here.
“Outstanding resort”
My wife and I liked this resort so much in 2010 we returned in 2011. Belize is a wonderful and beautiful gem. The people of the country are friendly and helpful. This resort is run by people who know what they are doing. The pool is almost unbelievable. The service is exceptional, and I mean that in every sense of the word. If you want to get away from it all, and still have access to great activities, this is the place. You will not be disappointed.
“didn't want to leave”
I am a canadian business owner whom travels regularly every month and whom travels 3-4 times a year to warm climates. I like to stay in 4-5 star hotels and resorts. I like great service and great beds and this place is by no doubt the best place my wife and I have ever stayed. Only negative is that the restaurant is not complete yet. Highly recommend this resort !!!
“Excellent Trip to San Pedro Coco Beach”
The property is brand new and our room was wonderful. The restaurant is still not open, but the hotel next to it has one and both properties are run by the same management so you can charge your meal to your room as well as anything at the bars on either property. It is maybe a block to the restaurant. Rooms very clean and amenities all wonderful. Use coastal express to go anywhere and amigos del mar was a great dropoff. There is an excellent sushi restaurant called the hummingbird that you should check out. Snorkel Hole Chin theres no need to scuba it. The hotel needed a workout room the one downtown was to far. Overall wonderful trip.
“First Trip To Belize”
Coco Beach Resort is located on the east coast of Ambergris Caye about 4-5 miles north of the city of San Pedro. Because the roads are in such poor condition and limited in capacity, most commerce and travel locally is conducted by boat. We were discouraged from renting a golf cart as these vehicles are not allowed on the beach and use on the road difficult and dangerous. Bycycles were an option we did not try, but their use along the beach was a common sight. At the time of our visit the resort was still under construction and there was no restaurant on site. Although the physical plant is impressive, even luxuious, I would not return unless construction and restaurant were complete.
“Great Place to Stay”
The staff was great. Coco Beach arranged everything from pick-up to departure. The swimming pool, white sand beach, and tropical grounds were very nice. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable.
“Extremely Satisfied”
We were extremely satisfied with the Resort. The staff was very friendly and made a point to talk with you. From the Dock Greeter to the Pool Guy to the Boat Captain. Get the Unlimited Boat Taxi from the Hotel staff. We worn it out going back and forth to San Pedro. The highlight of the trip was diving with Belize Ocean Divers. Its owned and operated by Scuba Steve who is a local. We dove three days and each trip was with only 4-5 divers. His shop is a little shack next to the Park and Big Daddy Lounge in San Pedro. Steve customizes the dive to your needs and wishes. He will pick up at the Resort or arrange for one of his buddies to get you. Its not unusual for him to throw in free snorkel trips as surface time. If you don't dive with Steve, you will be making a mistake. I would give you his cell number but this site says I can't. Look up his web site but ask for Steve.
