Best affordable Beirut hotel.
Stay was great and staff are very kind and helpful. They are ready to answer any questions and have all your requirements addressed promptly. The Lavender is one of the best hotels to stay in Beirut for its comfort, accessibility and the price is reasonable compared to other hotels in the heart of Beirut Hamra.

The Manager Khalil was really wonderful tending to all my needs also the front desk throughout the shifts were gentle and genuine in their willingness to help whenever I had requests. Jack was really entertaining in the different languages he speaks. Very friendly staff!!!!!

We had no internet for 2 days. No hot water for 2 days the conditions very poor. The cleaning part very poor. The hotel did not offer anything for the uncomfortable and unconvinced issue. I don’t recommend this hotel

So dirty, disgusting smell, don’t feel safe during your stay. Someone tried to enter the room without permission and he knows that there is a girl in the room I don’t know what was he want coz i Shouted and he left and I can’t see who is he fishy hotel..

Dear Marmar took us many days to figure out who you are since we've never faced problems like that, especially in the past 6 months, unfortunately, smell can't be proven by typing, cleanliness is being followed up on daily basis, so why you didn't report to the FOM! regarding the case that someone tried to enter your room, many cases and many solutions, mentioning some of them: a guest forgot his room number or by mistake tried to open the door (and sure it will not open) maybe if you meant that somone entered the room and not only tried to open the door well, if the housekeeping knock the door 2 times and no one answer from inside well, he has the right to enter in case you didn't use the DND sign, also its a solution to use handle tags! Also you have the option to lock the door from inside so you can keep safe emotionally and truly! thanks for your compliments,

The wifi wasn't working for my whole stay. We called for help but nothing was solved. The AC wasn't working. There was no hot water. Terrible experience.

Check in process consumed a very long time. We waited 30 minutes to get our bags to the room from the reception by the responsible person. The juice served in the breakfast was really awful. There wasn't any kind of fruits in the breakfast.

I made my reservation but I did put the wrong date by one day. I tried to reach through there online service with no luck. I end up calling the hotel, and they told me there is no reservation under my name and the hotel is full. I gave them the reservation confirmation number and they could not find it. They told me the hotel is full for today for the next 3 days anyway.

Good location and helpful staff
I was travelling alone (solo female), and felt very safe staying here. The staff were always helpful, answering any questions I had, recommending places and arranging taxis for a couple of trips I did. It's a good location - Hamra is a vibrant area. The hotel does have a cafe open until late, but worth noting that it doesn't serve alcohol - very good fruit drinks though!

Memorable Experience at The Lavendar
The managers and their staff were very hospitable; helped us with information for sites to visit, arranged for cabs and helped enormously with the language barrier. They were efficient, but mostly and what we really enjoyed, was they were personable, interesting men. The only downside for us was we had trouble with our wifi service, but Beirut and Lebanon are so magnificent, that we really could not complain. The soul of the city awakened us every day, and our stay at Lavendar Home was part of the unforgettable experience. Its location in Hamra allows a traveler to truly become acquainted with the character of the city. We really loved our time there.

Nice hotel but terrible internet
Good property, nice service and excellent breakfast. My biggest problem was the internet, which I needed badly for my work. It was just painfully slow, with download speed at 0.4 mbps and upload at 0.1. I asked the staff if they were having some connectivity issues but I was told that this was the normal speed at the hotel and a manager/owner told me he could not afford more than that. Well, other hotels can.

Good location mediocre facility
Centrally located and cheap but you really get what you pay for. The AC doesn't work well. The beds are uncomfortable. Bathroom overall leaves a lot to be desired. Good service as they accommodated my requests but the facility is truly lacking.

The hotel was perfect in every wait. Room and location were ideal and the staff at Lavender--from the attentive breakfast crew to the professional and efficient front desk--would have been impressive at a hotel five times the price. We just felt so lucky to have so many people helping us figure out tours, transportation, and other issues. What a great place!
