“Great Stay”
The hotel was great. It was clean, it was inexpensive, and the service and location was good. The only bad thing was that the beds we're hard but I seem to run into this problem everywhere in china as they seem to like to sleep on harder beds, and not every room has it's own heating vent. so on the colder days if your not in the master bedroom it might get cold in your room. But overall still a great stay, I was quite impressed.
“Excellent apartment hotel”
I have just spent a week at the Luxury Serviced Residence Beijing. This was one of the best accommodations I have had anywhere. Being a serviced residence we could experiment with cooking Chinese foods as well as it was close to Silk Market and great restaurants also easy walk to subway for everything else. The service absolutely amazing, English speaking support staff really helpful and made our stay almost perfect. This is a perfect place for a longer stay, extremely comfortable, yet with kitchen facilities and good location.
“had a blast”
great place for a family
“Good place for family vacation”
This hotel is a good value for family vacation. The room is clean and comfortable. Its fitness center is relatively small, but well maintained. Hotel service is responsive and friendly. The only complain that I had is that there were smoking smells in the hallway next to the elevator. I guess that this could be a problem at any hotel in China, as there are so many smokers there and smoking is generally not banned in public areas. By and large, I think that this is fine place.
“Spacious and good service”
I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. It is rather close the center of Beijing. The room is huge on two levels. Room is clean and comfortable. The only small problem is the shower room. Honestly, I think it was a poor design. Other than that, good value, clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Taxi is very cheap in Beijing, and I got around town pretty much used taxi. I stayed in Beijing many times, and this one pass my line.
“Would go back”
Hotel is a bit dated, but very clean. Staff is incredibly helpful about where to go, what to see.
“A Good resident Inn, but need better cleaning crew.”
I been traveling to Beijing every month for the last two years. I been staying at different hotel every month till this one and Ascott Beijing. They are sister hotel I have learned. The staff are friendly and nice. But they need to have the cleaning crew do a much better job on cleaning the rooms. The room in general are clean, but need a better mapping, vacuming, and bathroom cleaning.
“The best of the 'price conscious' options.”
Dont expect to be booking into a 'hotel' experience if you choose this place to stay. This is an apartment complex with the equivalent of a porters desk at front. Having said that if you are looking for a place that is very good value for money, one where you will be left to your own devices and one near to Silk Street shopping centre, then this is probably your best choice. This is as close as you will come to having an apartment in Beijing (with all its advantages and frustrations) at a very reasonable price....but dont expect the pampering the name of this building might lead you to think is coming your way. On balance I would recommend this place if you are travelling with price as a factor and will certainly use it again myself.
“Spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere else.”
The hotel was not at all what I was expecting. I had a 'non-smoking' room although there was an ashtray on the coffee table when I walked in. But what made it even more sad/comical was the fact that the entire hallway smelled of smoke and the only thing keeping my room from not wreaking was the towel they shoved under my doorway. The bed was hard as rock and the room was boiling hot. Not a great start, but when I saw body hair on the shower walls that didn't belong to me it was the icing on the cake and I decided I wasn't staying a second night. Nobody asked why I was checking out a day early. The staff didn't seem particularly invested in the guests. I won't bother getting into the details of the breakfast served- not edible.
