“Great Location, Wonderful staff, Clean and quiet room.”
I stayed in Jade garden for 5 nights in October 2011. Hotel is centrally located. The staff and specially bell boys are very friendly. They speak sufficient English and are very helpful in arranging cabs for you to go to different destinations. I strongly recommend this hotel and will definitely return to it myself. One warning about hotels and almost all other buildings in Beijing (and other towns in China): They often have steps to enter the buildings without any rail on the sides. So, if you have physical problem climbing the steps make sure to carry a cane. That is what I did. The bell boys at Jade Garden Hotel were very sweet and would always run to help me.
“Will Return”
English speaking front desk staff, provided card for taxi driving options in Chinese, walking distance to bus, subway and main attractions like museums and the forbidden city. Many room options.
“Lovely Experience”
Spent 3 nights there in the Superior Executive Room and it was amazing. The room was very spacious and very clean. The computer in the room was very handy for checking emails and searching information on places to do around Beijing. As i was between two trekking trips i got some laundry done at the hotel and there laundry service was very professional. Breakfast buffet had a very good and the restaurant provided a very good meal. Its very close to the Forbidden City and train stations.
“Good location”
I upgraded the room to a suite which was great.
“À la porte de la Cité Interdite”
Tres bon hôtel au cœur des quartiers touristiques de Pékin : Cité Interdite, Place Tien An M'en, boutiques de luxe et marchés traditionnels chinois. Petit déjeuner un peu cher mais très bon et à volonté. Situation centrale par rapport aux autres lieux à visiter à Pékin.
“Nice hotel in Beijing”
Nice facility within walking distance of the Forbidden City. Price was excellent. Staff was attentive. Room and entire facility were clean. AC didn't seem cool enough, even though maintenance staff came to the room twice - we kept the room anyway. The restaurant menu seemed a little high, but we didn't eat there. Certainly would consider this hotel if we ever visit Beijing again.
“Total satisfaction”
The hotel is well located. It was easy to reach it either walking or by public transport. It is well equipped (tv, internet, loundry service, free pc-set). The staff speak some English and do their best to provided help when needed.
“Great hotel at a good price, could be closer to a subway line”
Jade Garden was a great hotel, located right in the center of Beijing. It was a 15 minute walk from Wangfujing walking street, 15 minutes from the Forbidden City, and 15 minutes from Tiananmen Square. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The staff didn't speak as much English as I was led to believe, but no big deal.
“The Jade Garden Hotel is superb and in excellent location.”
For a middle aged couple the Jade Garden Hotel was perfect. Spotless clean, our room comfortable and not wanting for anything. All the Staff friendly and helpfull. The meals we took at the hotel were from the buffet so even those who are not "adventurous"eaters could be satisfied. The Jade Garden is in a perfect location just a short walk from the Forbidden City, Ti' Square, and shops to suit everyones pocket, and in the evening a street hot food market where you can sample snake, scorpion, insects and other items that we couldn't quite tell.. We loved our stay, The Chinese people were so friendly and humourous.(the last no jokee price )brilliant..
“Great staff, and location v close to main sights”
We would reccommend Jade Garden. Staff were friendly, and booked a good great wall trip for us. Clean, v close forbidden city. Not particularly close to the metro (15min walk), but area was ok.
