It was ok.
The location is great. I dont feel there was any service in that hotel. U have to pay for all the service such as u have to pay another 98 rmb if u check out after 12. The room is ... I will say it was "ok" it's just a bed to sleep. I guess u get what u pay.

This room did not have any windows, felt like i was in a basement. I do not reccomend this type of room. It was clean, staff nice and friendly . But room itself was stuffy, and hot.

THIS HOTEL IS A TOTAL SCAM!
They claim that their computers are down so they can't find your Expedia.com reservation. They tell you to pay them directly and they will report to Expedia.com to refund your money. But then after many months of trying to get a refund, they deny that it happened. And no one speaks English so it's extremely frustrating and time consuming to get Chinese friends to help you fight for your money.

Not a bad hotel, but overpriced
This is a 2/3 star hotel. Nothing to write home about. Not bad, but it's overpriced. Should be closer to $40, not $60. Hotel staff were professional overall but had problems figuring out how to copy a passport properly.

Nice hotel close to the US Embassy
I went there from the airport. It costs some 60-80 RMB from T3. The check-in was smooth. I left the lights on during the night because the window-less room feels a bit depressing. Other than that, everything is good!

Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!
The room was like a sauna and even though they kept the lounge and the halls cool, my room was too hot to even sleep. I actually kept the door open, but locked, throughout the night. The shower head didn't work and the lady behind the service desk was very unaccommodating. I actually booked a NON-SMOKING room but they put me in a SMOKING-ROOM and told me that couldn't switch me because there were no more room available. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible!

generally it's better than other 3 star hotels
location is good, room facility is good. as my room was on lower level, i can easily hear the noisy lobby at night and in the early morning, for their group event. only thing i want to complain is the bugs in my bed. i slept at around 8pm (too tired), then woke up at 11pm, still everything good. but my feet and hands were bitten when i found out at 3am. till 3 days , can still find about 6 places on my body.

Close to subway. Reasonably priced hotel with pleasant rooms and food options available (extra cost). Staff very helpful but conversing in English made getting our message across difficult at times. Restaurant and shopping centres nearby.

Location was reasonably walking distance from Liangmaqiao station of Subway line 10. It has a big fx sign on top of the building so you won't miss in despite being situated in a minor street. Even the random taxi driver from tiananmen square knows how to get there. Staff are very friendly and was able to speak decent English to accommodate basic needs.

The room was great; the bed was soft by Chinese standards. The internet didn't work; even after asking for help. Call girls kept sliding their cards under our room door which we didn't appreciate.

2-3 star at most. Hotel smells a bit weird and seems to be have a lot of smokers. Restaurants are run down. Rooms severely need renovation and paint. At one point I found call girls ads outside my room door.

Great location
Overall good for a short stay. Windowless rooms are hard to tell if it is morning. Very clean for a hotel in China and the amenities are excellent such as potable bottled water and minifridge. Staffs' English is workable but limited so if you need greater details just walk over to the nearby Four Seasons or the Kempski hotel for better English. Beware of the prostitution cards that fall out of your hotel room door (this happens a lot in Beijing). Proximity to the subway is a major advantage. However, Beijing's subway is a hassle to use of itself. The subway stop is one stop away from the airport express that leaves for Beijing Capital airport.

Not bad!
The hotel is located conveniently near subway. Only a few staff members speak English. The room was not that bad. I would recommend this place for its location. The safe in the room wasn't working which wasn't a big issue. Other than that no problems.

I had stayed in this hotel for two days (Oct 17 and 18, 2013) and was very happy overall. It is very close to subway, about 7 minutes walking. Outstanding services, very comfortable and excellent food; highly recommended. What I like the most is that the manager and the staff of this hotel are willing to help you in any way they can to make you happy.

Betwixt and Between....
Normally in chinese hotels, the front entrance is fantastic and grand, and the room is a big let down. In this hotel it was quite the reverse. The entrance is NOT on the river as per the photos on the website, but off the street behind, next to closed down massage place and the KTV. The lobby is very ordinary, but the lift, corridors and room itself were great with fairly new modern decor. Comfortable bed, fridge, TV, nice clear glass surround shower with plenty of hot water. About 400m's from the Metro station. Go onto the Hotel's own website for accurate location map ( NOT Hotel.com - their map is again wrong....). You can see the top of the Hotel from the bridge over the river ( the S/E entry from the metro. Breakfast selection is quite OK, but get there early. Free hotel internet has setting that won't always allow you to open your email. Oh... and they lost my booking and I had to ring Hotels.com to get it sorted. Every day, some kindly person puts business cards advertising local Call Girls under door.... but didn't see any loitering around. Secure electronic lock to door and safe in room. So hey, I was happy overall, but in the presentation of the Hotel as a business there can be improvement.

Excellent Boutique Motel
The hotel was an excellent value for the price. The boutique, funky black and silver decor was fun and the rooms were very comfortable with terrific air conditioning, good shower (included many conveniences such as a soap and shampoo dispenser), and comfortable beds. The location was quiet and many shops and restaurants are right nearby. In addition, the subway 10 line is just a short distance. Compared to nearby hotels it is a real bargain. We had ordered rooms without windows but got rooms with windows. Next time, I'd probably pay the extra for the windows. Breakfast was good for 35 yuan and served in a nice clean cafe area.

Directions/ oily smell at level 2
It is located in the 3rd ring of Beijing. Near langmaqiao station exit C, walk across the shopping centre carpark and cross the bridge. Pls don't take room on level 2 (room 206 and 207) because your room will smell of oil during breakfast hours. Majority of the staff does not speak English. It is better for u to give them your destination in Chinese. Cheers. In conclusion, good hotel for the price that you pay.

The PERFECT Place
This hotel was in the perfect location for where we needed to be and had a lot of things close by such as Subway, restaurants, convenience shops, shopping and places of interest. All could also be reached by a brief ride in the subways. I LOVED this hotel! I will stay Here again!

The PERFECT Place
This was the PERFECT place for this particular trip, as I needed to go to the US Embassy. It was a VERY VERY easy walk to the Embassy as well as several international restaurants which were very nearby. Also, a very quick walk to 2 different Subway stations (the easiest was Liangmaqiao). The street the hotel was on was fairly quiet and not heavily trafficked, however, not many taxi drivers were exactly sure of the location, but GPS can quickly help with that. We booked the windowless King room, but ended up with a lovely room, that actually did have a window. The decor in the hallways is a little unusual, but not unappealing. The room was extremely clean and well kept, the bed was wonderfully soft with a pillow top mattress, and daily service kept it clean and comfortable, The in room wifi worked extremely well, and allowed 3 laptops and 2 mobile phones to easily connect. The toilet, shower and sink all worked well, and there was ALWAYS Plenty of VERY hot water available. Complimentary bottled water was nice, and the fridge made it cold, if you wanted to wait some time to drink it. The staff were friendly, and very accommodating, very quick to help out, though most of them had limited to no English. However, between my Chinese ability, a dictionary, and their English, we were able to understand each other. I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again when I have to return to Beijing!!!

A good place to rest with low cost in Beijing
I stayed in FX Hotel Yansha for a couple times in recent few years. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, and rooms are clean. The location is very very convenience with the subway station within walking distance. The only bad thing is that you will not get a room with window if you pay less than 300 yuan per night. Overall it's a good place to have a sound sleep.

The hotel staff didn't understand any english at all. They should at least be able to communicate with Internatinal Guests.Moreoever The receptionists kept ignoring us reason they could not talk to us in english neither did they try to understand what we wanted. To add on to that they didn't even call a Taxi for me to Airport and I had to pick up my luggage to the main road and get a Taxi for myself.

Funky but chic
Very friendly and accommodating. Laundry and restaurant a little expensive for this kind of hotel. Great location. AC did not work (apparently turned off for the season in mid-September, when things are still uncomfortably warm in Beijing), and the fan they quickly supplied with barely mitigated things. No window in the room, but a cool light meant to compensate. Worked for me; might not for everyone. More-than-adequate internet, both wireless and CAT5E. Pulsing disco music; thankfully not during sleeping hours. Quiet room; decent show. Funky decor in room, hallways, and reception. Early check-in allowed.

language barrier tested my patience
the room was fine for the price we paid. We were on a budget so the no window room was our option. this would not be a big deal if not for the unfriendly staff that works the reception desk. the very few staff that actually speak English were rude and not helpful. To ask any simple question was a struggle. However the staff who did not speak English were extremely kind and helpful. Be prepared to use a translation site with the guided tours lady at reception. the location of this hotel is very far from all the tourists destinations. a pro was staying in a "safe" neighborhood. we didn't worry about walking home. would i stay here again? mostly likely not.

Good value, near subway
Got a good deal for this hotel for 3 nights. Arrived VERY early but was still allowed to check in. Rooms were modern and convient, but no carpet or nothing too luxurious. Staff were helpful, restaurant was average. Best bit is the subway is only 3 mins walk and its very convenient if you dont mind squashing into the subway cars

Not quite good except location
The hotel is very basic. I booked a non-smoking room but upon arrival it turned out that the room smelled just horrible. I asked to change that was done. However, the new room was not much better. You should be aware that Chinese people are heavy smokers and do not care at all about any prohibiting signs or rules. Good stuff - free internet in the room. No breakfast, but this is not a big problem, as there are a lot of cheap restaurants nearby. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great - just a few minutes of walk to the diplomatic quarter. Overall, a good stopover for 2-3 nights for a single traveler or a pair without children.

Convenient place.
Stayed there end of April 2012 for business + leisure trip in Beijing, the hotel is less than 500m away from the nearest underground train station (LiangMaQiao Station) which is also 1 station away from SanYuanQiao Station, the interchange station to the Terminal 2 and 3 Airport Commuter line. The hotel is 1 junction away from a wide selection of food, especially one very good SiChuan+Canton restaurant down the MaiZiDian Road. The amenities are standard, free wifi, hot/cold bath, hair dryer, mini fridge, working table, cable tv, and some cables to connect your devices to the tv. Hotel rooms are clean and the design is very modern, also quite soundproof, maybe because this hotel used to be a KTV. Service is ok, the receptionist and the bell boy are helpful and attentive. Overall it is a very good value for money hotel.
