We were pleasantly surprised. We have stayed at other Quality Inns which were OK but we left wishing we could have stayed somewhere else. This one was great. The room was huge and the bathroom was remodeled. The adjoining restaurant "The Arena" was excellent and offered a great free breakfast bar for hotel guests. The staff was helpful and very accomodating.

I reserved a room w/a king size bed & a sofa; got the king size bed plus 2 chairs & a table. Not the comfort we were looking for. Otherwise it was very nice.

“An Unpleasant Experience”

We booked a non smoking room and when we arrived we were told it was a smoking room. We were told that Expedia.ca had requested a smoking room. I am extremely sensitive to smoke and was very upset. We were told if we didn't take the room we would still be charged and would have to deal with Expedia. After an 11 hour day and being extremely tired we felt we didn't have any option. The room stank of smoke and we tried our best to air it out and deodorize it. It was nauseating. The room was not clean. The coffee maker was filthy. The ice machine on that level was out of order. We couldn't get the alarm on the clock radio to go off and had to unplug it. One of the reasons we were interested in this hotel was an on site restaurant. It is only open for breakfast even though the hotel directory says it is open from 7am - 9pm in 2 separate sections. Also the website also states there is a restaurant. I will be taking this up with expedia but there was no concern shown about our situation. I will never stay here again even if it was anon smoking room. Beware!!
