And when they say free breakfast they mean it. this was not a cup of coffee with a stale donut. This is a very convienient location. Easy on off I-10. We will try more La Quintas in the future. thanks

We were in Houston first week of June 2006. I had never been to this part of Houston, so I was a little nervous about the area And condition of the Hotel. I was very relieved to see that the hotel was in great condition. The service was excellent, and the rooms were just fine. Now, don't get me wrong, if your looking for "top of the line", this hotel is not for you. But if you need a place to stay, at an affordable rate, this hotels for you. Continental breakfast is not huge, but just enough to give you some choices.

A niece large comfortable suite that was clean and in excellent shape other than the iron was missing in the closet. Staff was friendly and courteous. I would recommend this hotel over other comparable hotels in the area.
“Decent - would stay again”
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and orderly - hotel is older and needs some updating especially in regards to the bathroom, but everything was clean and worked ok, of course the in room coffee was less than stellar (hard to get good coffee out of that little pot) but luckily Starbucks is in walking distance!!! ;-)
“Cheap, Clean, But out of the way...”
We didn't look at a map before booking, with our very loosely planned trip. We had read other review of the hotel and based on their good reviews decided to take a chance. We ended up spending most of our time in Galveston, so it was a little out of the way. That being said, we were more than satified with the quality of the room we stayed in, and the carpets were even clean (who would have guessed!) Most hotels that we have stayed at in this grade of hotel have had if not dirty, grungy looking carpets, so we were pleasently surprised. Also the air conditioning unit was unexpectedly quiet, which was also a big plus. My daughter wanted to go to the pool just before we checked out and also a positive experience. The only negative I could see was that the hotel staff that we dealt with didn't appear to be real outgoing or friendly, but they weren't rude either. Overall we were very satisfied, and plan on putting this on our hotel short list for the Houston area.
