Excellent architecture. It's a rich man's house modified into hotel rooms with beautiful walls. You would want to extend your stay in that vintage room with modern amenities.

Almost everything was perfect. Our room was small but very well organized. The breakfast was delicious and tasty. The host was very friendly.

This was a lovely stay, great breakfast, £10 parking and amazing view with a lovely garden area. The rooms are nicely decorated, with a nice touch of a chocolate plus tea and coffee. I dropped a star because it was so hot in the room. Even though I switched the radiator valve to off, it still poured out heat. I ended up leaving the window open all night, which meant I was woken up by the traffic noise from 5am. There is air con, but was wasting my time & the environment by trying to counteract the heat with using air conditioning.

Nice and quiet room. Our TV wasn't working properly but the receptionist came (twice) and sorted it for us. She was very pleasant about it.

Stayed only the one night as had a gig at the bath forum which is only 10min walk down the hill. Very nice b&b clean, comfortable and the staff were lovely. Delicious breakfast and parking onsite. Perfect

Great location, a 15 minute walk to the city centre. On-site parking. Spacious room with a lovely 4 poster bed, clean and well equipped. Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful.

Everything was in great condition; bedroom and ensuite were spacious and lacking for nothing; the atmosphere was welcoming and tranquil and all staff were very friendly and attentive. Good breakfast choices, and the bar looked inviting (although we didn't use it). Would definitely stay again.

A romantic getaway
If you are looking for a romantic getaway for two from the city, this hotel is a perfect stay. Lovely, warm and very clean. Had a fantastic time there. Highly recommend it.

Lovely stay in Bath
Lovely building, nice 15 minute walk to the city centre (up hill on way back !). Staff were great and breakfast was excellent (including gluten free toast and cereal). Older style building with all its usual quirks but we loved it. Lovely four poster bed in our room - would have been nice touch to have roll top bath and separate shower. That would have made the room perfect. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend a stay here to visit Bath.

Lovely old property that gave a nice flavour of Bath. Excellent views, especially at sunset. Really good for coeliacs like myself and made adjustments for my deafness. Decor was looking a little tired and chipped in places but really, quite minor.

Good location is you on a driving tour.
Good choice if you you have a car…you can leave it in the car park and walk into Bath easily…breakfast was fantastic and the lounge/bar was nice. Grounds were lovely too. Our room was comfortable but a little cramped and that goes for the bathroom and shower as well, but I guess that’s expected from a converted Victorian manner house. The staff were wonderful, especially Kasey.

Fabulous B&B to stay. Hope the rest of our trip won’t be disappointing after Oldsfield. Nice staff and cute loft room. Walking distance to city center. Delicious breakfast too!

Lovely base for exploring the delights of Bath.
Lovely stay, very pleased with all aspects excellent rooms with very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfasts in a lovely setting. Good location for easy access by walking or bus into the center of the town. Friendly and helpful staff. Will happily plan another visit at some time.

Highly recommended
Hotels in a great location with a 15min walk to the Abbey/centre, Reasonably priced for the location of the hotel with on-site parking (parking was £10 a day) and breakfast included which was really nice and well presented, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, hotel was clean and tidy! Would recommend staying here, would return in the future
