I arrived late at the hotel bcos my driver lost his way. It was pretty scary during the night time as there are no street lights. Once reaching the resort, the staff was helpful and check me in with no hustle. I stayed in the 2-storey hut, with the room at the top floor and the toilet at the lower ground. It was pretty scary to go down to the toilet in the middle of night where the place is so near to the jungle. Bad imagination did cross the head. It was quite an experience. Everything is so great. Those who are afraid night, better stay away....haha..The breakfast is so healthy.

"Stay at King Solomon Resort Mabini vis Matangas Ph"
Good points are the view, the attached wharf pontoon and the meals..
Reasonable price but the resort makes money out of diving..
Friendly staff and videoke free as is wi fi
Casual relaxed atmosphere - once staff are on duty they do a great job - very casual as well
Rooms are not refurbished everyday and have to ask for new towels each day
Long way from beaches and cafes and markets of Mabini, 80 pesos in tricycle, rocks and no beach.
Enjoyed the stay though for 2 nights and didnt dive

The room is big and nice but has a very weird design for the comfort room. If you book a room, you have a free access to the Terrazas which is in a different resort about 8 kms. away from Club Punta Fuego. The beach is rocky. Towels are not free if you swim.

the place of resort is good and easy to find; just beside the main road of nasugbu. actually there is lack of the facilities, only has swimming pool, but that is so excellent. the swimming pool just beside the beach is perfect and nice to play with all of old and young. the height of pool is around 5ft so good to play all.
room condition is also good enough. each room has their own veranda side to beach. that is awesome.

We were misinformed!
When we contacted the front desk of the hotel to confirm our booking. They said that the hotel guests can use the beach club facilities as included in the hotel rates and fees. That was not the case!
We were not allowed to enter the beach club. Instead we were directed to the open beach shore, without the restaurant and the proper enclosures where guests can take cover during the rain.
It was so disappointing, after all the amount of money that we paid for the Hotel and it was not cheap.
We truly felt isolated and the staff really treated guests as non-members of Pico de Loro, there's a whole lot of difference.
And the food, don't get me started with the food, it's not even hotel quality.
The service was really bad, even though they're only serving 3 tables, the food took 30 minutes to be served.
Trust me the food was also bad and their prices are really high. There's no value for money whatsoever. And we were all too tired to complain so we just lived through it.
All in all, we don't recommend hotel accommodation.

The whole ambience was cool, energizing, and inviting. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. What could be more helpful though is giving enough info to those going swimming in other pools aside frok the one near the resto, that towels should be claimed at the front desk. Perhaps this happened during our stay because of the two wedding accommodations that happened on that day where all staff were pretty much preoccupied. Jevertheless, little things can mean a lot in terms of making one's stay more convenient.
