Hotel is situated away from main road and is quiet. Bed mattress was comfortable but sofa chair was unsightly and needed a shampoo badly. Staff was friendly and efficient, aircon was leaking but technician came and rectify immediately. Free shuttle to shopping mall was only at 4pm (could have been more regular). Overall, stay was comfortable.

All of the staffs were super accomodating, despite our requests during the wee hours of the day. Staffs were very warm, friendly and professional. Value for price.

Hotel staff was friendly and room is clean and spacious. Location was good as it is close to ferry terminal and local shopping mall. Breakfast was mediocre. Internet speed was slow.

For the price , i would say , worth it , overall happy with my stay , very convenient - bcs mall and nagoya hill (3km) , breakfast not bad , staff and service was awesome (very helpful ) - nearby have street food , very nice view (lvl 11 cafe and swimming pool not bad ) - Room was good , overall just need to do maintenance , some stuff shaking (will book again if i go batam) - Welcome juice was awesome .

Great!
My stay was not bad. Bed was comfy. Free shuttle to Nagoya Hill mall and BCS. Except for water pressure was very low, swimming pool area is at an inappropriate situation and breakfast can be improved. I hope the hotel would allow early check-in for my 3rd stay in future.

So-so experience
Requested a non-smoking room but they gave us a smoking room. Room was missing sofa and small table. Nothing much can be expected out of the hotel. Swimming pool was dirty.

Just ok but not meeting my expectation
I had 2 days stay during weekend. Asking for more pillow but never reply back after being told that they will check. Room is clean. No gym. Location not very convenient. Got free shuttle to Nagoya Hill and BCS but only few selected hour. On Sunday, they have Christian service inside the hotel which I amazed at it. However, I won't come back during the weekday but will consider if I stay on weekend.

Enjoyed my stay at horison.. The room n hotel are clean.. But the only prob i encounter was the room aircon does not feel the cold as in u have to wait like more than a hour than will feel the coldness.. although i adjusted the aircone tempereture up and down bt it seems making no diff.. And also the breakfast need improvement as the is not much varieties.. overall other than that shoudnt be a prob..

Had a present stay,the staff was vry helpful polite and always on the ball,exerting was ok except for the indoor pool area needed much improvement..not recommended for small kids,water too cold,pity the towel boy always have to mop the whole area which cnt be help much..and the floor is dirty and the pool didn't have the smell of chlorine..soo everyting about the hotel was ok except for the pool area..would stay again if have the chance be great if have inroom bathtub

Hotel room was clean and spacious. Staffs are polite and friendly. Massage are very pricey. Breakfast was moderate but not much variety. There are no iron and ironing board in the room. We had to call room service to deliver room and must use it immediately due to lack of iron and ironing board in the hotel. Overall the stay was great.

Nice place to stay
Overall nice place to stay. Hotel stuff was more than friendly and the place was clean even though it can be seen that its not the newest hotel. Room was very comfortable and you can decide if you want a non-smoking room or a room where you are allowed to smoke. We chose the first as we hate the smell of cigarettes. The room was really good and beds were so comfortable that we didnt want to wake up! After all hunger took us to breakfast which was to be honest a slight disappointment. It was mostly local foods, which we didnt like that much (for example meet with bones - there was not much to eat after taking the bones out). It was also a bit crowded and it took ages to fill up empty ingredients (for example cheese was finished and they said wait a minute - I waited more than 20 minutes). Hotel has many services such as spa and a roof top restaurant. That is really nice, but I need to say those were over-priced. Paying in total 48k (40k + service) for a small can of beer is just robbery, since normally you pay one third of that price in nearby restaurant.

Good service, Free Shuttle & Comfy bedding
The service was good and the staff was friendly. They provide shuttle service to BCS Mall and Nagoya Hill at 10am, 1pm and 4pm. They can have more time slot would be great. Their bedding was so comfortable, the pillow and bed was comfy. At night, there's some street food outside the Hotel sell BBQ corn and whole coconuts which only cost me $2.20 for both. Their breakfast spread need to be improve to complete the stay as "Live like a King in King's Hotel."

Honestly, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Unfortunately, the shuttle service to shopping centre is kind of disappointment. It's my 2nd time staying at the hotel due to warm and friendly staffs as well as the cleanliness and comfort of the room. But transportation to shopping centre needs to be upgraded to avoid further disappointment. I will not stay at the hotel again.

Overall was good just that cleaniness of the room can be improved and shower heater can be upgraded for a better stay.

Hospitality at its peak
You will never find a hotel like this which is bless with many staff especially Roi which offers hospitality and exceed all expectations. I would definitely come back to this Hotel again during my visit to batam!

Stay was fine but should apply no smoking rule inside hotel vicinity. A swimming pool and game room is a must. More free shuttle service is also welcome.
