Superbly located within the old city’s medieval walls. Our room even had a view to the spires of the cathedral a hundred meters away. Easy walking access from paying underground parking and to everywhere in the old city. Well-appointed studio, though not fully handicap-accessible (4 steps to studio front door). Friendly welcome.

When I arrived, after the reception had closed, I was left waiting for someone to answer the phone on the pavement for quite a while, without any message saying i was in a queue, or that the caller knew i was waiting, which made it very stressful at that time of night. The accommodation, although advertised as sound proof, was actually very noisy. The fittings were a little dated, with bubbled up splash back in the kitchenette. Very central in a perfect location. Helpful staff at the reception.

Convenient, clean, pet friendly & charming staff.
A well located, clean, spacious room with a good bathroom and all the necessary amenities as advertised. The receptionist, Ana, is superb and attended to any request with efficiency and a smile. Right next to the shopping area and the cathedral, this aparthotel is suitable for short and long term stays and is pet friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Great value.

Excellent all round:However very disappointed i have not yet received my 200euro security deposit which I gave 2 weeks ago: it was agreed the room was left in excellent condition :further more whilst talking to hotel.com about the matter I was cut off.

Nice apartment for the winter cooler months......
Please be aware that this apartment is not air conditioned and it is very warm, very warm indeed during the hot weather. Opening the window does not help and the little plug in fan unit in the apartment does nothing to alleviate the heat. Also, the wifi was annoying as it was in and out and required entering the password over and over again.

We arrived after hours which was fine because they have a good system for this. However, we did not get the room we booked and had no one to talk to because there was no staff. Air conditioning did not work at all and the room was really hot! No hand towels or face cloths in bathroom, or even a proper towel rack or shelf. Not even a garbage can in the rom expect in the bathroom. We left prior to check out so we had no one to discuss our issues with. Very disappointing stay.

Great functionality and convenience
Clean and tidy, with a great location near the cathedral and old town. Modernist and not particularly fancy, but very pleasant and convenient. Full cooking facilities.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. It is in the middle of town. The hotel is comfortable. But the internet is not working throughout our stay.

Wonderful quiet peaceful place the hydro in the kitchenette was not working so I could not use it but the bed was very comfy and the location wonderful . I would stay again anytime

Great place to land!
My partner and I stayed here on our way to St. Jean to walk the Camino de Santiago. We arrived just before closing. The receptionist was very friendly, spoke english well, and was in the process of preparing detailed written instructions for us if we arrived late. Her conscientiousness meant a lot! She recommended good restaurants, and oriented us to the town. Our room overlooked the square in front of the hotel. But there was little noise to disturb us. This was an excellent place for us to land after a very long flight into Paris and a train ride south.

Clean, comfortable. Very close to the centre. Theoretically absolutely ideal. But have to say there is nobody to contact out of hours or at the weekend. Saturday evening all power went in the apartment and I was stuck with no light or power. No number to contact in the documentation. Sunday found a number downstairs but nobody answered - left a message and nobody replied or came to the apartment.

Like it very much. Best location.the meideval festival was in front of the apartment. Good for longer stay. But they don t have changes, I had to give them exact amount. Can't eate service as it is an apartment. No service provided.

A good value for money self-catering accommodation in the heart of Bayonne's old town. The only downside was the non-functioning internet connectivity during our stay.

Good apartment in a lovely old city
Good room in good location with good facilities. We had a problem with access. We arrived on Saturday afternoon when the office was closed. We followed the given instructions but with our limited French and the caretakers limited English we couldn't get access to the building. Luckily another resident turned up and we were able to get inside.

I would not describe it as an hotel. For me it was more like an apartment as part of the bedroom contained a small kitchen area. My husband and I only stayed two nights so we did not use the kitchen facilities. It appeared to be well equipped. It was a modern facility. The bedroom was nicely decorated and the feature wall was painted an aubergine colour. Access to your room was obtained through a gated area. You were provided with a fob to open the gate and once inside the gate there was a lift to your room. When leaving the building you pressed a button that was on the wall to open the gate, so you felt it was safe and secure.

We visited during a heat wave and the air conditioning couldn't keep up. If the temps had been a bit cooler it probably would have been fine. As advertised, this hotel was low on amenities (ie shampoo, soap) but that was offset by the temporary residence features (washer dryer, dishes, microwave, fridge, etc). Staff was helpful and spoke English, but the place was unattended at night, as expected.

A beautiful place to stay in Bayonne.
This is an impeccable, beautifully constructed hotel. The clean, all-white room and furnishings offer a kitchenette with all the tableware and cooking utensils one would need. Everything is new. Appliances include cooking surface, microwave, and frig. The bed is very comfortable with down pillows and duvet. I arrived after the office closed on a Saturday, so the manager sent me an email with a code to access the room key from a lockbox. Be aware that there's a small fee for wi-Fi and should you arrive when the office is closed and you have not requested wi-Fi, there's no way to get it. The location is excellent, in the shadow of the cathedral.

Excellent location in the center of Bayonne, within minutes from the old city center. The building is very new and theapartments are also brand new. Comfortable, spacious, the only tiny problem is with the bathroom tiles (the shower areas is actually higher up than the rest of the bathroom which meanas that when one showers the whol bathroom is completely inundated. Minor nuisance. My biggest problem was a hole in the street next to the side entrance, where I injured my ancle and tore my ligaments which ruined the rest of my vacation, and I am into a lengty recovery. I believe that the sideway right next to the building belongs to the property and should be maintained. Thank you for the nice lady who came by and offered help and and gave us an icepack (which was very helpful).

Staggering value for money, especially if you are more interested in a hotels room than it's services and facilities. Good sized studio apartments at a good price, smack bang in the centre of Bayonne, on a beautiful square which is perfectly quiet at night. I would definately consider staying here again.

Temporesidence Cathedrale - Apartment , Bayonne
Stayed in July 2010. The town was preparing for its annual festival and there was quite a buzz to the place. Lovely medieval centre. I liked the modern design of the apartments within the ancient location. Accommodation very comfortable. Only quibble was that there was no instruction manual for the cooker and I could not get it to work, I ought to have asked Reception about it!

Cet établissement ne mérite pas du tout les 4 étoiles annoncées. Tout au plus 2 étoiles. Propreté qui laisse à désirer. Concernant l’aspect général de la chambre, cela ressemble plus à un Ehpad mal entretenu. Literie passable. Lits largeur 80cm. Absence de décoration. Aucun charme.. vieil appareil de chauffage,. Télévision hors d’usage, décodeur qui lâche tout le temps. Ceci concerne le studio dit « supérieur » n* 102. A éviter.
