i was very happy for the hotel and service, a really high standard service that you can never expect from a three star hotel. Over roll everything was excellent.

The Hotel is a compact but modern Hotel. My single room was clean and nicely designed. I also chose it because breakfast was included, which is not always the case with other Hotels. Breakfast itself was a nice spread which hit the spot. The Hotel also still give you a free Mobility Card for the length of your stay which is valid for all public transport in the city of Basel and its surroundings (zones 10/11 and Euroairport) - excellent value! I would cerainly stay there again - very glad to have found it. Hotel staff were pleasant too.

“A Decent Hotel with a Good Location”

The hotel is located almost in the Messeplatz. If you cannot afford expensive hotels like Swissotel or Ramada, you can definitely stay in this hotel that has really nice and helpful staff.

“Very convenient location”

Very clean cheap and comfortable. Free travel pass an added bonus. Eight minute walk across bridge into old town, or two minutes on the tram.

“Convenient located to Basel Congress Center”

Just a few blocks away from Basel Congress Center. Easy access to City Center by bus and tram. Good European breakfast and free internet access are included. Currently under construction but it has not affected my stay. Friendly and helpful staff at the reception.

“Great Service and Facility”

The hotel was clean and neat. We were quite comfortable and had everything we needed. The continental breakfast was set in a formal dining area and cold food selection was adequate with personal service of coffee and tea. Hotel staff was very helpful to us. Being in Basel for the first time, we needed assistance with street directions and service locations. The hotel desk clerks spoke good English and were eager to serve. We would stay there again.

Ideally placed, especially for any Basel Expo goer. Very friendly staff, A great breakfast buffet and a free daily unlimited travel ticket (during your stay) are included included in the price.

“Une bonne adresse”

Hôtel confortable, bien tenu, disposant d'un garage. Accès facile depuis l'autoroute. Centre historique à 10 min à pied. Le personnel est agréable; toutefois, il serait bien que l'on parle le français à l'accueil: Bâle est une ville frontière et le français est quand même une des quatre langues nationales de la Suisse!

“Hotel du Commerce”

Although I initially had a problem with some of the electrics in the room, the hotel staff were very helpful and quickly sorted the problem out.. The hotel has a number of tram services near by and there is a main shopping street only a minute's walk away. The breakfast was decent; and each room has a safe, fridge and tea-making facilities.

“Comfortable hotel; bleak neighbourhood”

The hotel is located in a conference/business district of Basel and is geared to serving business guests. The surrounding offices and rather ugly commercial buildings have a chilling effect. That being said, the room was comfortable and very clean. Staff were polite and helpful (which does not seem typical of Basel!). The breakfast was good and the price reasonable. As the hotel is close to the tram routes access to the city centre is easy.
