“A historic and romantic experience.”
It's all about the fine location and attentive staff at the Petite France - in the very heart of old Strasbourg, on an island, overlooking the river. Driving there was tricky, even with our GPS set to its address, due to many one way, dead-end, and pedestrian-only streets (we went round and round...). Once there, though, we really enjoyed our two day stay in one of Europe's most fascinating cities, walking everywhere. The hotel's history as a mill and ice factory made it even more interesting. Our top floor room (#406) was unusually spacious, and had a spectacular view of the river and rooftops from the dormer windows in several directions. There were a few minor problems (safe and bathroom light weren't working), but the staff were quick to fix them. We had dinner at the hotel one night - decent but not exceptional - and generously-sized drinks at the bar, which were pricey but delicious.
“Hôtel romantique”
Parfait pour un week-end en amoureux. Idéalement situe dans le quartier touristique. Hôtel très propre et design moderne.
“An American businessman living in Europe”
Very good size rooms and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and the hotel has been updated. A very pleasant surprise when one looks at the exterior. Parking is not easy and it's easy to get a parking ticket in the only areas where you are able to park within 200 meters of the hotel. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend this hotel for so many other reasons.
“Great location!”
A great location and a very nice hotel! The only suggestion would be that they provide better lighting in the room. It was very dark. Other than that, Strasbourg is a great city to visit and this the perfect hotel!
“Excellent!”
We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Everything was great. Hotel's condition is excellent. Location is good (walking distance from the Main Train Station and main touristic attractions). We can not evaluate hotel's breakfast, it was not included and we prefered to have breakfast outside hotel in the nerby caffes (Strasbourg offers too many excellent choices for them!). I do recommend this hotel first of all for all leasure travellers. Probably for business travelers the hotel maybe is less convenient but not bad of course.
“Perfect setting, superb ambience”
Situated in a perfect location for sightseeing. Top class hotel
“Strasbourg's best hotel”
The location is unbeatable; just in middle of Petit France in Strasbourg. This is true gem. Highly recommended!!!
“Wonderful hotel in Strasbourg”
We stayed at the Regent Petite France in Strasbourg over a 3 day weekend. Excellent experience, great location! The hotel staff were exceptional -- very polite, multilingual. Our room was quite large by European standards, including space for an extra bed. We had a great view of the river (and a couple dozen Ferraris, by chance). Breakfast was excellent, too. Only nitpicks were a couple maintenance issues -- door to toilet didn't close, TV worked erratically.
“exellente situation”
hotel de luxe au centre ville de strasbourg très calme
“Better than expected!!”
Room was beautifully furnished and looked like it had been done recently Friendly efficient staff Would definitely use again
