“Good price and value”
This hotel is in a decent neighborhood, not too noisy. The room was surprisingly spacious (by European standards) and had a little kitchenette, too. Just two minor complaints: 1--door for hallway was a bit loud (I was at the very end, so I heard it every time someone went in/out) 2--entryway to our rooms (we were in the building across the courtyard) smelled like trash during entire stay Otherwise, we found this hotel very accomodating and nice.
“a really good deal”
When one discovers how expensive most places are in Europe, it becomes a great pleasure to discover a centrally located, clean, and efficiently run hotel that is a bargain. We were on bicycles and could park our car in the hotel's lot for no charge and then get around the historic center with ease. A beautiful city to visit, by the way!
“Good value, very convenient to walk to EU parliament or into town”
I enjoyed my stay here, and I do stay in a great variety of hotels in Strasbourg, where I am once a month for four days at a time. This is very convenient off the Boulevard Clemenceau, and easy to walk to the parliament, or into town, or to the nearest tram line. Overall very good value for money.
“Great, friendly service - Very comfortable!”
CAP Europe was a fantastic hotel experience. There was a convenient kitchenette with a small fridge and a few utensils. The hotel was clean, the service was courteous. They moved me to another room with better wifi service when I asked them to. Very friendly! And the hotel was so conveniently located - right by a big tram line, and only about 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. Was perfect for my purposes. Definitely will return! Definitely will recommend!!
“Great Find”
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon. The hotel is close enough to walk to restaurants, bars and sightseeing, but it is located in a quiet neighborhood. The place is more like an apartment building than a hotel which makes it feel more cozy. While the room isn't too big, ours had a stove top, decent sized fridge and some cookware and utensils w/a table if you feel like eating in. The place was very clean and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a great place to stay on a budget, I would definitely recommend Cap Europe.
“Solid choice”
Basic, but excellent deal for the money! Room was small but perfect for our one night stay and the breakfast the next morning was awesome. Location is good - parking is available and you can walk into the downtown area and see all the sites.
“Very basis but roomy.”
The staff was helpful and arranged for our late arrival by leaving detailed instructions to access our room. We got the feeling that the "hotel" is affiliated with a medical campus in Strasbourg. We were a bit surprised to have someone come into the room at 9:45 AM asking when we would be leaving because someone had to repair a window. We told them by 10:30. At 10:10 this person was back and we told them 10:30 again. That experience aside, the description is quite accurate. It is a basic, large room, with a reasonable price, and good for a family of 4-5. We would stay there again but ask to not be disturbed. Of the 10 hotels we stayed at during our trip this was our 11 year old's favorite because it was so large and unique. It felt more like a college dorm room than a hotel but we were not expecting much going in.
“Hotel Cap Europe un endroit abordable et pratique”
Considérant le prix, les chambres sont tout à fait acceptable et le service fournis par les employés est satisfaisant. L'hotel est dans quartier non touristique mais très proche des attractions.
“Decent hotel all around”
This hotel provided a good introduction to Strasbourg for me. The staff was friendly, the location is about a 10 minute walk from downtown, and there wasn't any roadside noise to keep me awake. Those who are really light sleepers may feel the walls are too thin, but it was ok for me.
“Perfect for a one-night stay.”
As a family of four staying in Strasbourg for one night only, this hotel was perfect for us. The staff at reception were all very friendly and, although we communicated in French, we heard them speak English to other customers and they were courteous and friendly in both languages. The room was a bit cramped but comfortable enough. There was a micro-wave and a fridge in the kitchenette but no kettle. The bathroom was quite spacious with a walk-in shower. No toiletries, just a soap. Breakfast not worth the asked price but we didn't feel like walking to the nearest cafe so it had to do. We had visited Strasbourg on other occasions and were there this time just to visit a friend so we didn't need the city centre. All in all, good value for money but I wouldn't stay there more than a couple of nights. One slight problem: there weren't any shutters or curtains in the room, just net curtains so we woke up with the sun.
