Just Gorgeous!

Posted 14-Oct-2014
Pros: The room quality and staff
Cons: Have more umbrellas for when it rains, so you can visit the local restaurants.
Location: Perfect lactation to explore the Blue Mountain resort and Collingwood
The room was of the highest quality, with all of the comforts you could ask for! Great staff, and over all a very very nice experience Highly recommended would love to go back. Just Gorgeous!

Nice Hotel - close to the village

Posted 7-Oct-2014
Pros: Very close to attractions - dog friendly
Cons: Restaurant
Location: Blue Mountain Village - lots of park type attractions, tons of good restaurants (except the hotel) and bars as well as shopping. All very pricey.
Lovely hotel although very pricey for the size of the room ($269 - Queen size bed). Beautiful location with lots to do around. Only downside was service at the restaurant (Oliver and Bonacini) - terrible and slow. Food tasty but lukewarm. Very surprising for this chain. Would go again but not eat here.

Excellent hotel.

Posted 25-Sep-2014
Cons: Short on closet and drawer space if you are staying more than a couple nights space and there are more than two people.
Lovely one-bed suite. Overlooking the pool yet the room was quiet. Best night's sleep I'd had in ages. Outdoor parking lot needs to be paved: huge potholes and mud.

Great girls night.

Posted 22-Sep-2014
I went up to the Westin for a night with 3 girl friends for my 24th birthday. There was a biking event on, so they provided complimentary valet service. The hotel staff were great. They asked what we were celebrating, and 10 min after we got to our room, they sent up a card and box of chocolates. We were very impressed with the hotel! Wonderful experience. I will definitely go back next time I am at Blue Mountain

Upscale hotel in the heart of the action

Posted 22-Sep-2014
Upscale hotel close to skiing, restaurants and lots of family activities in the hear of Blue Mountain. Great family vacation spot, great memories. Loved the hot tub, and the Oliver and Bonaccini restaurant. Going back for New Years!

Will go back.

We had a good time in the hotel. Generally speaking it is a very good place to stay but like everything in life there is always things that can be improved. For example, our safe in the room did not work and there was nothing they could do to fix it. One particular waiters in the Lobby Hotel was NOT good. And by not good I mean, she did not smile at us even once, she made 2 mistakes on our orders that we only found out after dinner and we had to pay almost $50 more. Other than that, we would go back there and will recommend it. Thanks Westin!!

This hotel is convenient, clean, modern.

Posted 27-Aug-2014
Pros: The bed is quite comfortable.
Cons: The duvet slips off of the bed. I would prefer a comforter.
We had no issues with the hotel. We enjoyed our stay. This is our third visit.

Great venue - practical necessities missing

Posted 23-Aug-2014
Pros: Ambience, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: The couch was not very comfortable, and we would have appreciated knowing if we needed to bring our own dishcloths etc. to the suite prior to arriving
Location: Great location - lots of things to do in the village, Blue Mountain beach nearby, Wasaga beach, Collingwood. We also biked the Georgian Trail.
We had a great time with our three children in a two bedroom suite. It was very clean and suitable for our family. Our only disappointment was with how the kitchen was equipped - there were a number of items needed for cooking meals in the suite that were not available (oven mitts, dishtowels, dishcloths etc.). However, the staff was very responsive when we called to ask for these items and did their best to accommodate us. We took advantage of the Westin Kids Club for a pizza and Plunge party, and all three of our kids had a great time. It was a great break for us, and fun for them as well. Overall, it was a great time and we will return.
