This hotel is convenient, clean, modern.Posted 27-Aug-2014
Pros: The bed is quite comfortable.
Cons: The duvet slips off of the bed. I would prefer a comforter.
We had no issues with the hotel. We enjoyed our stay. This is our third visit.

Great venue - practical necessities missingPosted 23-Aug-2014
Pros: Ambience, cleanliness, friendly staff.
Cons: The couch was not very comfortable, and we would have appreciated knowing if we needed to bring our own dishcloths etc. to the suite prior to arriving
Location: Great location - lots of things to do in the village, Blue Mountain beach nearby, Wasaga beach, Collingwood. We also biked the Georgian Trail.
We had a great time with our three children in a two bedroom suite. It was very clean and suitable for our family. Our only disappointment was with how the kitchen was equipped - there were a number of items needed for cooking meals in the suite that were not available (oven mitts, dishtowels, dishcloths etc.). However, the staff was very responsive when we called to ask for these items and did their best to accommodate us. We took advantage of the Westin Kids Club for a pizza and Plunge party, and all three of our kids had a great time. It was a great break for us, and fun for them as well. Overall, it was a great time and we will return.

Family ResortPosted 21-Aug-2014
Our room was not what we normally experience in Westin Hotels with a crooked broken ceiling light and a bathroom that could use a more thorough clean. This is most definitely a family oriented hotel with children everywhere - running/crying in the hallways and wandering the restaurant. The pool area is small and crowded on a lovely summer day. I went there four different times and could not find an available lounge chair. The food in the restaurant was good and the front desk staff were helpful.

Very nice hotel, but small roomPosted 14-Aug-2014
Pros: Clean, location, staff
Cons: Room layout
Location: Blue Mountain, Scenic Caves
Travelled on a family holiday. Great location and very clean with nice staff and a great restaurant (Oliver & Bonacini). My one big complaint is the room. We had a 1bdrm suite - the main area was small, but sufficient. The 1 bdrm was like a closet with just enough room for the bed and no room for luggage or walking around space. On the 2nd night we put the kids to bed in there (they loved having the adult bed) and hung out in the main area. Highly recommend that approach (can't see the hotel changing the layout of the rooms any time soon). When it's time to go to bed, feel free to move the kids back to the sofa bed. Might want to inquire about 1bdrm suites at other hotels next time.

Girls weekend get awayPosted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: great location - right in the thick of things
Cons: room cleaning - found a childm's book under the bed .....
Location: mountain zip lines, tree top climbing, shopping, village strolls and restaurants within minutes walk
Staff were so friendly and helpful to my daughters and I. Extra robes were provided and helpful suggestions to get teh most out of our 2 night stay. Definitely would come back - great location, vibe in the village and restaurant.

Great Experience!Posted 11-Aug-2014
We were thoroughly impressed with our hotel room and all of the amenities. It was very clean and the staff were very courteous. The food at the restaurant was also of very high quality(we enjoyed a delicious breakfast). We would certainly entertain the idea of rebooking another stay.

getaway for 2 great Resort, Overload of childrenPosted 11-Aug-2014
We had always heard amazing things about the Westin Trillium House , so my husband and I decided to take roadtrip for a few days to Blue Mountain Check In was quick & pleasant , our room was gorgeous , super clean & fully stocked w all the comforts of home The village was wonderful & to my surprise was not overly prices for tourists , it was normal prices we would pay going out around Home in Niagara Falls The absolute only thing I could complain about is the amount of children running around the resort , I was not aware that the Westin became a Family Vacation Zone & I wish that was stated on the site as a main feature to their hotel in the Summer months , We as a young Newley married couple had different expectations and probably would have went after Labor Day to enjoy a bitmore peacefulness It's a shame so many parents allow their children to run & scream & litter there garbage & jump in and out of elevators Other then that the resort is amazing If you are looking for peace & quite I recommend calling and asking about quiter times of the year
