Horseshoe Resort offers 102 guestrooms featuring wireless internet, cable television, and pay movies and music. Room amenities include coffee/tea makers hair dryers, clock radios, electronic check-out, and air conditioning. Services include housekeeping and wake-up calls. Amenities available on request include refrigerators, a turndown service, and hypo-allergenic bedding. Rollaway beds are also available. All guestrooms are non-smoking.

“Would definitely stay here again”
Very nice view of ski hill from room; friendly and accommodating staff. Lots to do at the inn but, I was here for a conference. Would return another time with my family for a weekend of fun winter activity. Enjoyed my stay very much.
“Beautiful resort, bad breaking mattress!”
This resort is extremely clean and well maintained. Staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We went to the "Saloon" in the evening for nachos and potatoe skins and a couple of drinks and it too was very nice. Overall we had a wonderful getaway, very relaxing. My only complaint and to me it is a biggie is the quality of the king size mattress. It looked and felt like one of those $99 any size specials. Both my husband and I woke up to back pain that lasted a couple of days. I was told by the front desk to ask for the queen size matress rooms next time because they are better quality.
“Awesome Scenery”
The hotel was great. The queen size beds were extremely comfortable, didn't want to leave them. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were nice, the bathroom was bigger than most. There was even one of those red heating lamps on the ceiling in the bathroom to keep you warm when you were done your bath or shower. The pools and hot tub was very relaxing. The grounds were awesome with all the forestry surrounding it. The activities attached to the hotel were an added bonus (zorbing, tubing, zip line, rock climbing). I heard they are adding a roller coaster next year. You can tell they are planning to build more activities. This place will definately be a hot spot in a few years.
“Not worth the rate”
We went to the Inn because my family has timeshare at the Lodges across the parking lot. The room was decent but definitely not up to par with what you would get for this rate other places. The bed did not have a bedskirt - mattress exposed. Room Service took forever and didn't have all the items when arrived. Our room never was cleaned by the maid on the second day, even though we didn't put out a "do not disturb sign". I think Horseshoe has beautiful grounds and nice activities for the family but a renovation and a touch of class is what this place needs.
“Very Disappointed”
The hotel itself is nicer than the rooms. Rooms are old and dated. Our heater didn't work, so by morning, it was freezing, especially for the kids. Front desk gave us a portable heater and was stingy on the creamer and sugars I asked for to make 4 of us coffee/tea so we could be warm. Found garbage and a peice of dried up fruit under the table when we moved it to create more space. We were not offered any compensation at all for the lack of heat In a nutshell, I was looking forward to this stay at this hotel markets itself as a wonderful place to stay. Quite the opposite.
“Not impressed, but nice neighborhood.”
We had two rooms. One was better prepared than the other. However, double occupancy room has soap, shampoo and conditioner for one person. The cable TV & TV low quality. Comfortable beds. Generally, the rooms were ok but the bathroom needs improvement. Regarding the pool area, many people walk with shoes from outside, and the water was cold.
“Sub standard service”
Stayed here for two nights, Very poor service, the first night the roof started leaking in the middle of the night, they gave us another room but no assistance. The second day they neglected to make the beds or supply clean towels. The manager has not yet responded.
