Nice private place

Posted 11-Aug-2014
We stayed at Blue Mountain with a group of friends. We were the only ones at club intrawest. Compared to their stay, our area was quiet with no loud interruptions. We were close enough to the village that it didn't matter. The view overlooking the pond was wonderful and the pool and hor rub so close was great

Nice hotel close to village

Excellent resort! Adult pool was too quiet and the overall atmosphere was awkward for a couple in their 20's. There is a family pool though which made up for this. I would recommend this resort to anyone staying in Blue Mountain.

Nice Hotel!

Posted 25-May-2014
Pros: Close to the village but quiet enough to enjoy a good night sleep. Staff are awesome!
Cons: The mattress sinks so it might need replacement.
Excellent hotel! Walking distance to the Blue Mountain village, although they also have a shuttle service, very courteous staff, clean and comfortable. Firework display can been seen from the balcony. I would definitely book again with IntraWest on my next visit.

Great vaction home away:)

Posted 20-May-2014
Pros: The location was great. Just a short walk to the village but not in the busy center. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: While the amenities are lovely (outdoor pool and hot tub) please give some thought to an enclosed pool.
Right from our check in to leaving, the staff were friendly and helpful. The lodge was beautiful and very comfortable. The studio room was also decorated with a lake/cottage theme and everything there for you (frig, microwave, dishes etc). The balcony looked inviting with hammock and muskoka chairs and although the weather had turned cool we did enjoy a glass of wine there while admiring the Blue Mountains. The Village was great with live music playing and despite the cool wind blowing everyone's spirits were high. The Gondola ride is a "must" to see the full majesty of the area. Great for taking pictures to preserve the memories. We're already planning a return visit (in the summer season)!

The word "kirchenette" needs to be removed from the listing or needs to be explained in better detail as I went with food to cook and turned out there was no oven top to cook with. Had to go out in the rain to cook all meals on the grill. Also older gentlemen who works at the front at night time on May 9th- 11th was very unpleasant to deal with.

Great Hotel with lots of charm

Posted 1-May-2014
Pros: We loved the size of or room and the fire place was lovely. Breakfast was fantastic!
Location: Located at the base of Blue Mountain overlooking the ski hill. Easy walking distance to the Village with shops, restaurants.
A great retreat at the end of a busy day. Felt like a vacation home instead of a hotel room.

Comfortable and colourful!

Posted 29-Apr-2014
Pros: Easy access to Blue Mountain Village. Not far to go for meals.
Cons: Better lights for reading.
Location: We took in the Collingwood elevator, the Thornbury fish ladder, the Meaford stained glass windows. Best - the hills and dales and curved roads.
This was a relaxing holiday in a comfortable studio. We appreciated the entrance out to the verandah - and the car park, the kitchen facilities, the comfy chairs, the spacious bathroom. Great!!
