“would go back again”
would go back again because i have been barcelona before the frist hotal i been before was not good so this hotal in vincci hotal is good away from town and quiet
“Pleasant hotel”
The hotel room was a bit small but a good value for the location. As with Spanish hotels, you need the key to turn on the lights and A/C. And there was no ice or ice bucket. But it was clean and comfortable, and almost new.
“Modern Hotel with very friendly staff. Would highly recommend”
Modern Hotel immaculately clean, away from the main shopping and bar area but the Metro is fab and simple to use. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, felt it could only bennifit from having and bar, but, there are a few close by. Had a great stay and would definately return.
“Un hôtel à conseiller”
Nous avons séjourné dans cet hôtel durant 4 jours au mois d'aôut, nous avons été enchantés. L'hôtel est très joli avec une déco ultra comtemporaine de très bon gôut, le personnel est aimable sans en faire trop.Les chambres sont spacieuses et très bien équipées, seul petit bémol, celles donnant sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes. Le copieux petit déjeuner dans le jardin assure sans aucun doute le commencement de belles journées.L'emplacement de l'hôtel est pratique, très bien desservi par le réseau bus ou métro tout en étant loin des tumultes du centre ville, mais par conséquent il y a peu de commerces ou restaurants à proximité (et encore moins de mi aôut à fin aôut!).
“Great Location in Barcelona”
The Vincci Arena was in a great location with close proximity to Plaza Espanya, the Metro, and the airport bus route. A short walk from the hotel provides an ideal view of the Magic Fountain and National Palace. The only negative for this hotel was in the bathroom. The shower had a wood floor in which water was supposed to flow down between the boards to drain. There wasn't a lip separating the shower floor and the bathroom floor, therefore a lot of water made its way onto the bathroom floor.
“Modern and Relaxing”
Once my cruise was over, I decided to spend a few days in Barcelona. I made reservations at Hotel Vincci Arena using Expedia. The hotel I wanted to stay at was bookked up. My Expedia phone rep. did some research for me and found this hotel. Upon arrival, I loved the way the hotel looked from the outside. Modern boutique style hotel. I was greeted wamly at the desk and immeadiately was checked in and shown where my room was. The hotel lobby is beautiful. I stepped out the elevator and loved the look of the look of the hallways. Dark but lit with green lights that had the room numbers on it. I opened my door and was taken aback at the beauty of the room. Modern, dark woods, rich burgundy colors. A nice size bathroom with a deep tub. Had a very relaxing feel considering the modern elegance of the room. I felt extremely comfortable, relaxed and glamorous with my surroundings. The hotel is on a quiet street in a quiet neighborhood. The front desk was very helpful with tips on how to get around in Barcelona ,good restaurant suggestions. All in all, a great experience.
“Highly recommend this hotel”
This hotel is in a great location to walk to many areas around Plaza Espanya. It also is very close to the train stations to take anywhere else you want to go. It's off the main street so the noise is less. The staff is very friendly and accomodating
“Good hotel and service”
A group of three of enjoyed our stay there. They had the room prepared when we arrived, complete with the extra roll-away bed. The breakfast was very pricey, but there is a nice bakery a block away. The nearest subway is a short walk as well. The staff spoke enough english to get points across.
“Enjoyed our stay”
A great hotel, with friendly helpful staff, we were asked on check-in if this was our first visit and presented with a city streetmap where time was taken to explain the best metro stops to get the best out of the city. As we had forgotten a travel charger, the hotel was able to produce one for our use with no problem. The rooms are clean and functional. The corridor to the room is hot and the lighting subdued but the air conditioning in the room and lobby/lounge is effective. The beds were a bit to firm for my taste, but I did have a terrific nights sleep. The views are not the best, but as you only are in your room to sleep this is not a problem. Breakfast is a little pricey but very good and after trying a cafe outside we found the hotel breakfast not such a bad deal. As the hotel is away from the center it is nice and quiet in the evenings and we felt very safe, but it is only 5 mins walk to Espanya for the Metro and the start of all the fantastic sights Barcelona has to offer. Only 10 mins walk from Barcelona Saints (Main station from the airport), turn to your right if exiting from the main entrance...follow road sign towards Tarragona. Overall good hotel, great location.
“Great Hotel”
Everything just fine. Good location, near Airport bus route, but peaceful. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely use again.
